There is a Guest Welcome Binder in the home which is full of useful information, and your entire house will have been Professionally Cleaned, and Inspected before your arrival. The Entire Home was gone through prior to listing, so as to meet our management companies Extensive Inventory List. We also provide a beginning supply of essentials (hair dryer, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, colored beach towels, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher fluid, laundry detergent, etc) and mini shampoo & body wash in each bathroom + bedrooms and living areas include Tower Fans.

Each stay includes Tahoe Donner Amenity Access GUEST Cards which Offer You A Discount On Day Ski Passes To Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area! These same passes gain you access to Trout Creek Recreational Center (Gym / Pool / Hot Tub / Sauna / Ping Pong), and the Private East End of Donner Lake Beach. HOA Amenity Entry to Trout Creek and/or Private East End of Donner Lake is $16/person/day/site payable onsite. One payment, and you have access to both All Day. Next to Trout Creek Rec Center is our favorite restaurant "The Lodge", and directly next to that is Z Market (Convenient Store). We are less than 5 minutes from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area, and also within Tahoe Donner is Tahoe Donner Golf Course & Driving Range, the Snow Play Area with a Tubing Hill during the Winter, the Equestrian Center, and an astonishing amount of Amazing Biking, Hiking, and X-Country Trails in Tahoe Donner and in the Greater Tahoe Area where there is something for everyone. Inaccessible in the winter
We had an awful experience at this rental. We stayed during the winter, and the dangerously steep and inaccessible driveway ruined our vacation. When we arrived, the driveway was covered in several inches of snow (it had not snowed for days and neighboring ones were completely clear). The listing had indicated that a 4x4 was required because of the steep driveway, but failed to clearly disclose that (1) it is a shared driveway so you can't park at the bottom; (2) there is no alternative parking available for over a mile (the rental terms say no street parking, but that's all); and (3) even a 4x4 can't make it up the incline with a few inches of snow (one got stuck while we were there). After using a sled to bring kids and luggage up the driveway, we called the rental agency to seek assistance. They were dismissive and suggested that we park at a lot over a mile away. We spent our vacation stressing about what to do with the car and lugging things up the steep incline. We found ourselves walking on the road in dangerous conditions, and our car was badly damaged by a snow plow because of the lack of parking. The property is probably fine in the summer, but we STRONGLY urge others to avoid in winter. If it's stormy, the property becomes inaccessible and unsafe. After our stay they said that they would no longer be renting it during winter, but they had previously been warned about the unsafe conditions and nonetheless rented it, so we feel the need to warn others.
