The Lodge is loacted on Butmaroo Station which is situated in its own sheltered picturesque valley with Butmaroo Creek running through the entire property with Tallaganda National Park on the southern boundary.
Butmaroo is perfect for guests who love to connect to nature or just need a place to relax and unwind. It is an ideal venue for family get togethers, groups of friends, a small conference or even a couple that wants a very special place to connect.

Amazing Farm Stay Experience

The location was fantastic and the house was too beautiful and well maintained. Its a perfect location to spend a quality time with your loved ones. Telstra Network available in and arround the property. We had a wonderful experience overall.

Butmaroo Station is a 3000 acre working farm situated in its own sheltered picturesque valley with Butmaroo Creek running through the entire property and Tallaganda National Park bounding to the south. Butmaroo is perfect for guests who love to connect to nature or just need a place to relax and unwind. It is an ideal venue for family get togethers, groups of friends, a small conference or even a couple that wants a very special place to connect.

Situated 15kms from the historical Bungendore village, home to the renowned Woodworks Gallery and award winning wineries and approx 40 mins to Canberra International Airport, and 285kms from Sydney via the Hume Highway
While the property is predominantly pastoral it has a lovely balance of native bush and waterways. The southern end of the farm is bounded by the Tallaganda National Park.

All our houses are set in their own private spaces on the farm with lovely landscaped gardens and views across the property.
Wander or take a bike ride around the farm and take in the fresh air and meet the animals.
