About this space
Come and relax in this calm, newly renovated stylish space. We offer you and your guests a comfortable, private, and spacious accommodation after a day of work, visiting families or just sightseeing. A place you can call “Home”.
The space
When driving or being dropped off, come in from the back driveway via the black motorized gate, park in your vehicle in the designated spot and enter into your private suite on the left hand side with the keyless door code.
Guest access
Guests will have one free designated parking spot for your vehicle on the driveway, the entire suite with a full kitchen, equipped with a Whirlpool stove, microwave, stainless steel Samsung fridge, utensils, cutlery, pots & pans for simple meals preparation, a full bathroom with towels, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer and of course the bedroom with sheets, pillows and blanket for a restful night. You’ll have full access to the front gated door to the bus stop, 7-10 walks to churches (St. Matthew’s Parish, Northwood United) nearby restaurants, the banks, laundromat, walk in clinics, Pharmacy, convenience stores and local grocery stores.

There is bus stop nearby. Conveniently located near dining and shopping. The unit is relatively new and very clean. The hosts were very responsive. Only downside is that it’s on a somewhat busy street (88th Ave). But will stay here again.

Host cancelled last minute

I contacted the host 3 days before our stay. They assured me our family was welcome and they would send check in info one day prior. When I did not hear back, I contacted them the evening before with no response. I contacted them again the morning of. Still no response. As I was driving into Canada (solo adult, with two kids in tow), I got a message that the host cancelled. No reason, no explanation. Needless to say it was already stressful travelling alone with children into a new country. To have to find new accommodations at the last minute was awful. Host never gave explanation as to why they cancelled and never responded to my inquiry as to why. (Did someone else staying July 13-15 pay them more? Why do hosts cancel last minute?) I noticed I am not the only person they have done this to. Based on the few reviews they have gotten, if you get in, it's nice. But high chances are, they will cancel your reservation the day of. Beware.

Everything was clean organized and in mint condition. All essentials were available. The owner/s is/are welcoming and trust/s you on their property. All needed information was sent in time through emails and never meet the owner in person. The needed information was detailed, clear and specific except for the address, which lead you to the mean street, while the property locates on the ally behind. We arrived at night and wasn't easy to find it. A little drawing or map marking would be really helpful. My wife spotted what looks like mouse as she was packing our stuff which really let down the otherwise great experience

Stay at Surrey

Thank you Thi and Brian for the warm reception towards me and my family and answering questions and concerns urgently. The suite was as described and kitchen had the utensils needed to make a nice meal. Suite was clean, my only recommendation will be to include a shower caddy in the bathroom rather than having the bodywash, shower, conditioner on the floor. I recommend this lovely property.
