Relaxing and pleasant
We found the unit itself and the overall property lovely. The unit itself is bright, airy and pleasant. Great internet & TV. On a couple afternoons we looked out of the lanai to see a line of of turtles sunning themselves on the grass next to the pond just outside our building. There's a central recreation/workout facility for the entire community, but there are also individual swimming pools on each side street, so it's easy to take a quick dip without having to plan ahead, pack a bag with supplies & get into the car to do so. We've vacationed in Naples numerous times - always within view of or walking distance to the gulf, so this was an experiment. We made a point of trying out restaurants near the property rather than always going to places we already knew. We "discovered" a Cuban restaurant we liked (Fernandez the Bull) just a little bit East of the property on Immokalee Rd and a Thai restaurant (Thai Udon Cafe) just a little bit the opposite direction, West of 75 on Immokalee. A bit farther south, we enjoyed Greektown Taverna on Vanderbilt & Airport-Pulling and had a great lunch farther south on Airport-Pulling at Simit Fresh Mediterranean. We also ate in a few nights and found all the cooking utensils we needed stocked in the kitchen.
