Great View, Nice Quiet Surroundings

The place was very nice, and has a great view out over the bay. The only drawback was the steep hike to get down to the waterfront and restaurants, though a few bucks for a cab can solve that.

Great Location, View. Comfortable and beautiful

We stayed at Sea Shells for 5 magical nights. It’s in a great location with a short walk (15 minutes down to Mac’s Pizza and The Fig Tree restaurants, as well as up to Jack’s on Belmont Beach. The hills are somewhat steep but manageable. The view of Port Elizabeth is quite nice at all hours of the day. The room (2) is comfortable and attractive with a very inviting porch/balcony with dining table and chairs and 2 reclining chairs. We left the French doors open most of the time for a nice breeze. The bed has netting to prevent flies which works, for the most part (it’s the jungle, after all). The property is so nice including the plunging pool which we used several times to cool off during the day and in the evening. My wife loved the floating lights in the pool. Flo and Karen are excellent hosts. Welcoming, helpful, fun to get to know. The staff were also helpful and so kind. This is a very special place!
