Very wonderful experience. The view of the lake was amazing. Watched the sunrise from the balcony and watched the stars at night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent. Near shopping and restaurants.

Amazing location, amazing apartment Thank you!

From the moment we arrived we were met with a fantastic friendly welcome. Our host explained everything very clearly and gave excellent recommendations for where to go and where to eat. She was lovely. This was the highlight of our trip- what a gorgeous apartment with the most stunning views we’ve ever had from an apartment. We honestly could not recommend this place more highly! Thank you for letting us enjoy such a fantastic house with such memorable views 👌👌👌

We stayed at the Shearers Quarters and it was a lovely stay. There was a dedicated parking space, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub and comfortable king size bed. Easy walking access into town and helpful hosts. Our stargazing tour was canceled due to cloudy weather but the office for that was right down the street.

We had the barn room at the end of building. Our host was very friendly and informative. It had everything we needed. Sitting on patio it had views of the lake. It was a ten minute walk to main part of town.

Gorgeous view of the lake! Everything else was great except for the couch- was not well cleaned. Lots of hair in cushions, did not feel comfortable using.

What a lovely little find! The property exceeded our expectations with a lovely big bath and also an awesome fireplace which connected the living room and the bedroom so was great in the cold nights. The property was close to the shops and the thermal baths and the kitchen was great. Ivan was very friendly on greeting us and we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful with everything and I mean everything you would want. Beautiful location spectacular view. Special extras like heated floors in the bathroom, slippers and bathrobes. Host is most helpful. Wished I stayed longer one night was not enough.

Our stay at the Mackenzie Suites was very nice. Our host was amazing, very freindly. Even as we had the smalles apartment (as she apologized for) it was really comfy and spacious. It was very clean with a good view of Lake Tekapo. The suites are a litle outside. If you don´t want to use the car it will be 15-20 minutes by foot until you reach the centre.

Excellent place to stay, easy walk into town. Exactly what we needed and was a great welcome when we arrived. The bath and kitchen etc are all modern and was private too. The only negative I would say is some of the decor which made me feel like I was staying at my Nanas… e.g. the doilies :) I must get me some of the wood ring cushions!! Otherwise exceptional and will definitely be staying again. Thanks team!

It’s a pity that we only stayed one night. We didn’t use all the facilities available to us. Good quiet location and on a clear night, we might have been able to see the milky way from the back of the property. Only downside was that there was no laundry facilities available for the apartment. That’s not really a major point as we normally hand wash with a Scrubba bag anyway.

We spent two nights at the property as part of our week long honeymoon trip to NZ. This property was recommended by a local expert and boy, did we make the right choice! The bedroom apartment was very cozy with a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It was truly jaw dropping when our kind host showed us around the rooms for our check-in. The staff were incredibly responsive and fast in answering any questions before our pre-arrival experience. The location was dark enough for us to enjoy the stars and see the Milky Way from the wood deck. A truly magical experience. Thank you so much!
