The peoperty is in a great location, check in and check out were completely hassle free. The property itself was rwally clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything you need. The washing machine was a godsend for a beach location like Cornwall. Would definitely recommend, especially for families with small children.

House was nice, great to come back too after the beach. The site it’s on hasn’t been at its best since maybe the 1980s but the actual close the house was on was nice.

Fabulous dog friendly accommodation. Clean with easy access to the 5 beaches in north Cornwall. On site dining which is dog friendly. Secure garden which is grassed with a bench and seats. Ideal location.

Beautiful place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at Bay Treat villas. Lovely villa, very clean, tidy and comfortable. Very well equipped, even down to dishwasher tabs for the amount of days we stayed. Hand wash, towels, tea towels, washing up liquid, salt and pepper, everything was thought of, excellent. If I wanted to be nit picky I would say the windows could do with a wash but other than that everything was perfect. Beautiful area, we were blessed with gorgeous weather too. A real bonus. Local beaches absolutely gorgeous.Friendly quiet site. People running the bars and kitchen were extremely pleasant people. Looking forward to returning again later in the year.

The property was exactly what we were looking for and definitely would us the property again. It was clean, modern and had very good facilities I.e washer/dryer and iron with ironing board. The only improvement I would make is update the arrival booklet as some information was OoD for example the shop is now closed permanently.

Great value. Good location.

Such great value just outside a fab village a short way to beaches and Padstow. Very clean and fresh with small garden. The lack of a coffee maker / plunger a bit annoying and only just enough plates etc. otherwise great.

We have stayed in a number of these properties but this property was by far the worst, there was a massive water stain on the kitchen ceiling mould and damp on the ceiling of the bath room the carpets have had a quick hover, all long the perimeter of the carpets was thick with dirt. There was crisps in the drawer of the bedroom. The stairs were unsafe it felt like one of the we’re going to give way when you stood on it. The noise from the next door neighbours early in the morning and late at night was horrific running up and down the stairs and being generally loud. I lifted the cushion up on the chair in the bedroom to check if anything had fallen behind it and it was filthy. The dining room chair back my daughter rested back whilst eating her lunch and the back of the chair gave way resulting in my daughter falling off the chair. The property is in need of general maintenance. I understand these are holiday lets but this one was a very worn out property in need of a lot of tlc. I’m very disappointed and we usually enjoy coming to bay retreat villas but really felt we had wasted our money booking here for a long weekend.

Bay Retreat 2 - Southern England Comfort

Very clean unit, all the amenities were there as promised. Our original unit was damaged just before our arrival, the property manager shifted us to a new unit in time for our arrival. No hiccups and no lost time on our vacation, super service!

Has everything you need

Second time staying here. Nice quiet location but close to all the towns of Cornwall. My only little moan would be to have a king size rather than double bed in the main bedroom. Great facilities

Really lovely find, lovely property, very clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue was trying to find the 'central area' to drop off our rubbish, only bin we could find was behind some barriers, so had to leave it outside the property. Maybe a map of the area in the property folder would be handy. Thank you!

The villa was very clean and comfortable would definitely book again in the future. Only thing is to begin with when we first went into the villa it smelt badly of stale smoke everywhere so we had to open windows and keep them open always whilst staying for the 3 nights. Also there is a bad drain smell in the back garden all day that’s really not nice so could not keep the back door open at all when weather was nice. Only two comments but overall a lovely stay thanks.
