Liked that it is walkable near the oceanfront and to Options of restaurants, family friendly boardwalk and activities. What I don’t like is we were place to a busy and loud street, where you can hear the people walking and talking and nonstop cars, my ear hurts and no peaceful sleep. The unit is ok.

won't go back

the room had a strong smell of bleach. Window in the bedroom had frosting scraped off and it was connected to the laundry room. pool was dirty as well as patio area was dirty.

For the price, the cost benefit is good, well located on the beach block. However, they charged two days of parking for 1 night at the hotel we stayed at, regular breakfast, very simple.

Only thing I liked was it’s low key. I don’t like that the shower clogged the ac kept shutting off and on my last day someone was having sex in the pool at 2am when I walked out my room to grab something from the car they have very hot water it wasn’t clean the shower had the last guest stuff still inside at the top the sheets had yellow stains etc but overall it’s good for the price you pay

check in was a nightmare and takes at least an hour. Room had no working light, sink full of dead bugs, and the bed collapsed in the middle as soon as I sat on it. Breakfast was inedible and there wasn’t even any coffee. Coffee maker in room but no coffee. Only decent thing is proximity to ocean

we get there before our time to check in and we made the line for 1 hour and half and they said they dont have room , we came back at 4 pm and they said we need to make the line again and the line was more longer than the first time ! no body help us and have to loose the money for reservation , so bad experience , i do not recomend any of this hotels ..

Get's the job done

The Hollywood Beach Swan is one of several motels owned by the same company. There is a central check in for all of the motels. Our check-in was swift and easy. The buildings are older. Our room was clean but basic. Two of the burners on the stove were crooked (but we weren't planning to use them anyway). The breakfast consisted of bagels, bread, hard-boiled eggs, etc. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done. The location is great--less than 5 minutes to the beach and they will rent you beach towels, chairs, etc. Not great, but not terrible--right in the middle. We'd stay there again--or check out one of other places.

My original room was open, theres hidden parking charges, the door to my room was wide open so i had to grt it switched, it smelled of smoke but overall it was a great place, im more pissed at the hidden parking charge, the smoke filled room, or the shower that had no hot water, andnused shampoos/conditioners, however for the price it still exceeded my expectations. At night my area may have had an outdoor party on a tuesday night, which would make sense if theres a pool bit theres not. Overall i wouldnt go here again.

Very rude and unprofessional people running this joint promise you for an early check-in and not letting you check in before four even after four actually, no closet space at all have to leave out of your suitcase no place to put your shampoo or conditioner or even soap you have to put it on the floor of the shower Very dated and dingy and very rude people that work there at the front desk, speaking foreign language and making fun of you. I felt like I was in a different country not in the USA.

Check in took over an hour even though everyone in line had reservations. It takes long because it’s one office for several hotels so imagine the wait. Check out wasn’t as bad, only took 15 min of waiting till I was finally told I could just leave the key and leave. The price of the room was $66.42 but they charge you the $39 dollars for parking. Parking is street parking if you can even find a spot. My room was on the second floor, no elevator. I didn’t want to wait in line for another hour and half at 10pm so I just left my luggage in my car.

I requested a handicap room ...or at least a shower chair. Upon arrival zero chair. They said they don't have one on arrival which is not ADA compliant. First 2 days that ac was nonfunctional. 3rd day, I finally got a hold of somewhat management. They replaced the ac construction 1.5 hours later. That following night...power was out from 10pm until 7am. They also provided a makeshift shower chair at time of ac replacement. When I went to use it, the legs broke underneath me and I fell and bruised my ribs on my back. I asked repeatedly to file an incident report (have all documents pics and conversations). And got nothing but moved to a different room for two days. They would not provide handicap accomadations nor provide me with an incident report to file due to their negligence. We ended up extending our stay 2 more days with our flight and when I went to front desk to see if they would extend...they told me it would be more than double for 2 nights. Mind you...this is a fairly priced motel. Let me step back this past wed trying to check in....we had a record 30" rain that day. We arrived at noon and asked for an early check in. They said our room wasn't ready BUT for $30extra a day they would give us a room immediately. Check in isn't until 4pm. By then, we were wading through 2 foot of water trying to find our room and they didn't even show us where to go. We found higher ground (now a friend) that accommodated us until we literally swam acros
