From the check in to the check out the experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff was waiting for us upon arriving . Check in was super fast. The hotel provides a beach bag that contains four towels and water for your use everyday . They provide free Chocolate and water in our room everyday. Thank you Rock House . We will be back .

Rock House was just what I needed. It was clean, great service, great food. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding just about anything on the island. Very relaxing!

Great hotel!

Rock house was great. They took care of everything we could want. The beach is great; the rooms are great; the restaurant is great; the bar is great! It's a bit pricy (including an unexpected maid gratuity added on at the end of the trip), but still much better than other accommodations on Harbour Island. In the end, the hotel's staff and services are worth the price!

Our flight on Silver Airways was cancelled and we missed our first night at the Rock House Hotel. Our room had been prepaid and was non-refundable. The hotel billed us for an additional 4% room tax and a 14% room gratuity for the missed night. We did not mind paying these fees for the for the 2 nights we were there, but felt it was excessive to charge these fees for the missed night.

Wonderful place with lovely associates

We had such a wonderful time. The entire staff was so nice and friendly. From the moment we walked in (complimentary drink) to leaving for the water taxi. This place is clean, comfortable and very relaxing. Highly advise staying here.

Terrific stay at the Rock House

Fabulous 4-night stay at the Rock House. Everyone was amazing. Eli took great care of us. We will be back! We stayed in the parrot room which was very comfortable. Caught the sunset on the side deck. Laid by the pool at the end of he day. Had one dinner at the Rock House which was delicious. Eli and his staff made our stay in Harbour Island so wonderful.

Attention to Detail All Around

We have stayed at many places on the island in previous years and found our visit to the Rock House the best, by far. The attention to detail of the finer things is truly evident. Also, by the end of our trip we felt like we were staying with our friends. It's that intimate, friendly vibe that sets this place apart and makes you feel like you are part of the island, not just visitors. Special thanks to Don, Jasmine, Flo, Kervin and all the restaurant wait staff who made our stay so enjoyable. We will be back!

Nice 10 room, adult only hotel close to the dock.

We had a wonderful overall stay at The Rock House in the Palm Room that overlooks between the main Government Dock & Valentines Dive Center on the bayside of the island. Prices on the island are crazy high (to be expected). The staff was friendly & the GM was excellent! Three items were "off" for us. Maybe since we're used to American hotels. FIRST, The housekeeping staff would not take NO service required for an answer. They knock on our door to tell us to flip our sign from Do Not Disturb to Cleaning Requested so they could do their job. After 3 encounters & me stating politely that we didn't need their services for the day--they later woke me up from a jet lag nap & later Cleaned the room anyway while we ate dinner there between 7 -830 pm. SECOND, we expected a better continental breakfast every day than a bb muffin, OJ, & a banana. THIRDLY, we were TOLD to be out of our room on our fifth & last day by their 11am check out time. We had a 3pm flight out. No extended check out times nor even an offer to keep our bags behind their reservations desk for the 2-3 hours we had left! Too bad, since this is such a nice facility and usually friendly staff to end it that way. But anyway--Thanks for the overall great time we had at Harbour Island, Bahamas.

Beautifully managed small inn with great service

What a find! Rock House is a little gem on Harbour Island. Don, the owner/manager is truly "hands-on," and it shows. The staff considers itself a 'family,' and they take great pride in this lovely property. We stayed in what was arguably, the worst room in the inn (The Monkey Room), but it was lovely, nonetheless. Everything was clean and up-to-date, and the decor was absolutely lovely. we enjoyed the daily complementary continental breakfast, and had a delicious lunch there one rainy day. We enjoyed two dinners in the dining room, both of which were delicious. The dinner service and bar service were superb. Be prepared for a bit of sticker shock when you see the menu prices, but that is the norm in Harbour Island. We also dined at The Landing, The Dunmore Beach Club, Sip-Sip and The Blue Bar @ Pink Sands. The prices at ALL of these restaurants were comparable to Rock House. Be prepared! Rock House has a lovely view of the harbor, and it is a short walk to the incomparable pink sand beach. We will definitely return to Rock House!
