Fabulous property and staff. Rita was so helpful when our car had to be towed, we wouldn't have been able to continue our trip with out her and the other team members help. The people here are amazing.

The location was amazing right across the street from the Battistero and nearby Il Campo. We stayed in the family suite, and it was very comfortable for all four of us. Comfy beds and great water pressure for a 700-year-old building!

What a wonderful stay we had at Il Battistero!! The staff were so friendly and helpful with any questions or requests as well as with directions and recommendations. The property was so charming and lovely - very old world and quaint. The best part was the location, however, literally steps from the Duomo and right in the heart of Siena! What a fabulous stay! Highly recommend!

Wonderful location!!! Everything within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean modern room. Shower needs repairing. Will definitely return to stay here. If you are driving to the hotel, It’s a ZTL zone so contact the hotel to make arrangements for your car to be garaged. Don’t need a car here. It is in the best location!!!

Loved this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat Location was ideal, across the street from the Siena Cathedral and less than five minutes from Piazza del Campo. Our room was clean and updated as well as the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Center location! It’s close to everything, especially the town square. We loved everything about it. The host was very communicative and provided restaurant recommendations. We had a rental car and opted for option 1. The drivers were on time as well.

Amazing location, modern room with a great view and balcony, top notch service -Rita is the best! We loved our time in the wine cave below the hotel and the cafe, bistro and Enoteca were convenient and top quality ! We will be back!

The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. It was super accessible to everything. Also, the parking options were great - highly recommend. They're so responsive through texting and it was great to have this level of service. Highly rec!

Il Battistero is a unique gem of a boutique hotel steps from the Siena cathedral. Steeped in historic importance as a former papal residence and sitting atop ancient subterranean aqueducts, I’ve not experienced anything like it before. Truly special.

Prime location; comfortable room

For us, the location is unbeatable. It was across from the Duomo and a short walk to the Campo and a lot of great restaurants. We were there during the Palio so it was a little chaotic but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One warning: if you are driving here, you have to valet park outside the city gates and get driven in.
