Great big rooms; very comfortable.

If you like space, you'll love these big rooms! We were picking up supplies for our village school and the staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to assist us. Even storing some small furniture and boxes for us until our truck arrived. They were really great.

Very helpful and nice staff. They cleaned every day. Make sure to get an apartment in block b. There is so much noice from a church and the road in block a. The swimming pool is about 10 minutes walk away on kabira club. We also had access to munyono resort. A veeeery nice place to relax.

It was time for me and partner to rest and stay indoors unfortunately the television didn’t have any signal, no access to local television only 4 channels worked. There was a church or bar playing loud music most of the day and night. Apart from that I love l enjoy staying at heights.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean. Nice spacious apartments. A/C is only in one bedroom so rest of apartment was quite warm. Needs AC in living area. Pillows are very high. Other than that the apartment was excellent. The sofa is so comfortable and spacious. Plenty of cupboard space. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Large family stay

Stayed in two rooms. Rooms were nice and spacious, bar and restaurant provided good service. We are a family of 8, but they only provided 2 towels per room, and even when asked for more towels/shampoo/bath wash, none were provided. Advertised that a gym was available, but the reception will give you a voucher to go a country club several miles away. Good or bad depending on how you look at it. Beyond that, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and my sleep was sound.

No hot water in the mornings

No hot water on both mornings. I advised staff after the first night but still no change. Disappointing. Also, pillows are uncomfortable. Bed is good though, room is clean, service is okay.

Would not recommend!

The first room they gave us was infested with cockroaches and when we brought this to their attention, they pretended not to be aware of it. They offered to fumigate the room while we were gone for the day which would not have worked because we were not willing to sleep in a room that had just been sprayed a few hours before. The new room they relocated us to also had cockroaches but we lucked out it was not as bad as the first room.

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a decent 3-star experience, but was left disappointed. The rooms were dated with worn-out furniture and the linens had seen better days. The cleanliness was below par, and I spotted dirt in more than a few places. Moreover, the Wi-Fi connection was patchy, making it tough for me to get work done during my stay. Breakfast was mediocre at best, with limited choices and not much variation from day to day. Overall, I would say this hotel feels more like a 2-star establishment. Would think twice before booking again.

I always stay here when I go for vacation in Uganda. However this time it was different. The room next to me the person had a dog which made it difficult for me to sit on the balcony, it was barking all the time i sat out. One time it almost pulled off my friend’s dredlock when she sat on the balcony unaware that the dog was in the back. On a couple of times I would request for stuff like flat iron or microwave and it would take days to get it, i know the front desk crew did their job because i was always there when they made phonecalls to put in my request. Onetime a housekeeper came to clean my room and I told her to come back later because i was getting ready to dress up and she said “ I want to do it now” i just asked her to forget it for that day. I love Bukoto heights, the front desk crew are professional and prompt.

I booked this property based on reviews. At check-in there was an unexplained delay, I could tell something was not right. After about 10 mins the girl comes and tells me that the Manager says the Expedia rate offered is not valid. I asked them to properly communicate this with Expedia and leave me out of it. It was very upsetting!!!

Excellent property, great service. I always stay there when I am bringing a tour group to Uganda. However, internet service is almost nonexistent in the apartments which means you have to go down to the lobby area. Other than that, I highly recommend the facility.

Ok place for the price but a little caution.

The staff and management were all nice to me. They let me stay 7 hours past check out for $40. They have a small kitchen, the food was ok. There is an elevator, it's a gated place with security. There is access to swimming pool and gym through a sister hotel that is ten minutes drive away. There is AC, and kitchen in the room. I didn't watch TV so I can't say. There is a safe but to small for my laptop. Complaints, I have two: I killed two cockroaches in the single day I was there, and there is a club access the street that goes until 4am in the weekends. And if course there is the singing Muslims that blast away in their loud speakers at 530am. I found it a little hard to sleep well

One night stay with family

Stay was nice. Service was good, Food and drinks at hotel restaurant were very good. Only issue was we are a family of four, and inside the room there was only ONE towel. When housekeeping staff was asked for more towels, we were initially told no, they had to get permission to give us a towel for each member of our family. Location of hotel is also good, only a few minutes from Acacia Mall and many restaurants and shopping.
