洗濯機と干す場所を貸してもらえて助かりました。チョイチョイ壊れてるところもあるけど、気にしなければ大丈夫です。部屋の掃除をお願いしたい時は鍵をフロントに預けます。そうするとタオルも変えてもらえます。二階の部屋はドアを開けていないとwifiが繋がりづらいみたいです。基本家の中では裸足の国なので、それが嫌な場合はスリッパなど用意して行くとくつろげます。アリンコは大きいですよ〜

Clean and helpful hostel, if looking for a bargain

Opinion of an American expat male. 1. Service: Staff very helpful in helping a new tourist get around Sri Lanka. Breakfast was hearty. If you're unfamiliar with Sri Lanka, do yourself a favor and book the hostel's airport shuttle service. 2. Room was spacious, clean, with working AC, 24-hour wifi, bottled water provided. Bathroom consists of toilet, sink, and standing shower. Nothing luxurious, but a bargain for what you paid for. 3. Hostel is tucked away deep inside a tiny side street. Very easy for taxi drivers to miss, especially at night. However, that is also why it is so quiet.

Comfortable rooms with great service!

We have a very pleasant stay at the Amali residence. It was a short stop over before heading south in Colombo so we did get to explore the neighbourhood but the hotel was in great quality, clean comfortable rooms. The service was fantastic with the host helping recommend travel plans, making tea on arrival, arranging taxis, ordering food for delivery. We would definitely recommend!
