    My boyfriend and I stayed at the Queen bed eco-tent, it was a truly awesome first glamping experience for us! We were very happy with the cleanliness, comfort and not to mention, the toilet in the tent was amazing! The place was also well equipped with a portable heater, cutlery, toaster, kettle and even a coffee maker! A kitchen just steps away was also available if you would like to cook. Lastly, this place is very close to the giant tingle tree, and also a 10mins drive to town for food and supermarket! Will definitely recommend this place for a night of chill and glamping at Walpole!

    Good for value.

    We stayed in the family cabin with 2 bedrooms. The cabin was very clean and well provided. The beds were very comfortable and there were extra blankets provided which was nice for a cold night. Great place to stay and budget friendly!

    Limited dining & shopping options, but we came for the glamping experience and cooler weather which we definitely received, cold night during summer was great. Friendly staff & kids enjoyed it too!

    Tranquillity at it's best.

    Was a cabin with ensuite. Very neat and tidy. Very comfortable bed, T.V was hard to connect to internet but I think that'll the universe telling us to disconnect from devices and connect to the beautiful surroundings. The shower head needs to be changed in unit 9, as the flow was terrible. Grateful some water but temperatures were up and down with the hot and cold so just food for thought. Friendly staff. Just a suggestion, I feel some directional tape on the floors would benefit someone who is visually impaired or blind. That way they could feel their way around the cabin without having to use their cane, just a bit more freedom for them. All in all though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Sehr freundlicher Empfang.Die Anlage ist schwer in die Jahre gekommen und verdient nicht mal 1 Stern. Verrostete Geräte im Wachmaschinenraum, Loch im Wischeimer und moderiger oder ungelüfteter Geruch besonders in den Schränken laden nicht zur Wiederholung ein. Der überzogene Preis spricht eine eigene Sprache. Nicht zu empfehlen.

    Great Start

    Coal mine beach caravan park is a wonderful place to stay. We were in a cabin but if you are thinking of caravanning or tenting, all the bays are covered by trees. The park is very quiet at night. It also close to many attractions.

    Great stay in a glamping tent except that we were next to the cookhouse and a tour group were very noisy until after 10pm. On a rainy night they also occupied all the chairs and we had to eat elsewhere.
