Nice stay in central apartment!

The apartment was very clean and the location is great, just 20 metres from the Royal Mile and South Bridge! Lots of bars and Fringe venue really close by. The apartment had a nice kitchen, but not a single pot and pan, not even cutlery enough for all of us. So don't expect to be self catering. There is no reception, and we had to get our key from the pizza guy, but he was friendly and on the whole it was a nice stay! If you want to be in the centre of everything, this is the place to stay!

God service og rengĂžringen var fin. Lejligheden ligge utrolig centralt. Meget slidt, og stĂžj fra gaden. Etlags glads i vinduer og tapet der er ved at falde ned. Mutte i vinduer. Sofaer og senge var meget slidte.

Stay close to city center

Nice flat very close to city center so it was very noisy all night. The flat is 2 stories up a very narrow stairwell, we did not bring our bags up because of the difficulty of the stairs and where we had to park. There is a paid garage at the radisson a block over (ÂŁ30 a night), with the sloped streets, it is quite a hike. Bed was not very comfortable but very clean and a lot of space.

The noise from the pub below went on most of the night. It was very loud at times out in the street. The stairs were a killer for us. So many and very steep and narrow. If you have trouble with stairs, this is not for you. The flat was clean and nice. But hard to get to for me.

Apartamento muy comodo y excelente ubicaciĂłn

Nos encanto el apartamento, era muy comodo, amplio, estaba muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo, eso fue lo que mas nos gusto, eramos 3, en la habitaciĂłn no se sentia ni un ruido, en la sala en el sofa cama si se escuchaba pero igual podiamos dormir muy bien, nos toco el apartamentos numero 6 por lo cual nos toco subir muchas escaleras pero gracias a su ubicaciĂłn este no fue un gran problema para nosotras, las llaves fueron muy faciles de reclamar inclusive el apartamento nos lo dieron antes de tiempo lo cual fue genial, nos guardaron las maleras durante el dia despues del check out asi que se portaron de maravilla, volveriamos a este lugar.

The property is in a convenient location. It was easy to walk to all of our destinations in Edinburgh. We did like the fact that the whole family could be together in the apt. It was extremely noisy. Partying going on until 3-4 am. Cops and ambulances all through the night. The building was non smoking but several times I could smell cigarette smoke coming through our door which then caused me to have a mirgrane.

Great location old town

This could be a lovely place I love the old Town and old buildings this is why I booked this one in particular. I had a few issues with this place 1 being the windows if you like to go to bed and sleep then until this problem is sorted this is not the place! We were awake till 5am with the outside noise coming through the the windows you literally felt as though you were outdoors it was that bad ! Another issue was after I booked this studio I had a email from the place saying there would be a ÂŁ200 deposit needed on check in- this amount was not stated on the booking form as I would not have booked up here, anyway on arrival the man never asked for this money which we were glad about, they also state there is a daily reception 2-4 which there is not , we actually had a message to meet a person at a pizza shop round the back to receive the key to our studio we did this basically in the street which I found odd, in general this place was ok it was clean and the ladies that look after this place were very friendly and helpful, I would return if these minor issues were looked into as it is in a great place and location.

Disappointment

the location is good but there were several problems. First of all, there was no lift to go to the room and the steps were very narrow. The second, the shower was very weak and it was hard to control the best warm temperature. the third problem was the window glasses were not double, so the rooms were so cold. In addition, there were not enough heaters to keep warm this room. when I was using the heaters, they stopped suddenly. Finally, it was very noisy outside because there was a pub in the downstair.

Was actually bought for my dads birthday as a relaxing weekend. First Problem, the windows are not sealed allowing a significant draft to come in, therefore the full apartment was absolutely freezing all night. Second Problem, windows again the didn’t block out any noise of the nightlife below and my party of people were all kept awake until at least 5am. Lastly, heating system was inadequate twice my dad had to phone someone to come and fix the heater, of which just didn’t work, not exactly helpful considering it’s the end of October. Really nice apartments but only stay here if in the warmer months of the year and if you don’t mind noise from the street below. All in all my party wouldn’t return again.

Bien situé, MAIS...

Appartement TRÈS bien situĂ© (Royal Mile & Bridge St.), mais c’est aussi le coin le plus bruyant de la ville Ă  la fermeture des pubs. Il faudrait la climatisation pour pouvoir garder les fenĂȘtres fermĂ©es. D’ailleurs il manque aussi plusieurs objets de base pour que cet appartement atteigne le minimum de confort...

TrÚs bien situé, MAIS...

Bien situĂ©, mais il s’agit du coin de rue le plus bruyant de la ville. Pas de sĂ©cheuse, ni dĂ©barbouillettes, ni lampe de chevet... de plus, la table et les (trois) chaises de cuisine sont comparables Ă  celles que j’avais lorsque je faisais du camping Ă  l’ñge de 17 ans...

Really enjoyed visiting Edinburgh.The accommodation was all that we required. The only problem was the narrow winding staircase all the way up to the third floor.

Good and bad sides

Place is just needing to be swept and cleaned a bit more. Sheets clean but bugs galore in the apartment and it’s up 6 flights! Arrangements to get in are super complicated and even following them I was locked out for 4 hours. Great for the price for 4 people compared to most so great location just complicated
