This property has the best location everything you need is just a short drive away. The condos are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials. As for the beach… absolutely stunning. It was peaceful, beautiful, and felt like our own private slice of paradise.

The stay and location was perfect and very comfortable. The TV in the living room wasn't working and we weren't able to get help. The other thing is that they only provide 2 tools of toilet paper and expect the guests to replenish if finished, which should be mentioned somewhere so the guest know

Perfect location for a week-long getaway. Loved the room, loved the private beach, loved the view. The main pool and hot tubs could use tending. One hot tub was cold but had bubbles; the other was hot but no bubbles. All needed cleaning. Water pressure was not great in the room; bathroom sink drained slowly from first day there; by end of week it wouldn't drain. Shower ran cold during 2nd person's turn, so that required us to develop a schedule so all could enjoy some warmth. But really, even with these minor inconveniences, communication with Vacasa was great, and I would 100% book this room again.

Disappointed because our home was in the projected eye of a Cat 4 hurricane on the first night of our reservation and were not allowed to adjust our reservation, unable to be there for the first night we had paid for. Tv set up was unusable, everything you tried to watch asked for our Roku code. Vacasa office told us no code was required and said they would check on tv while we were at diner but it was still not working when we returned. We will never ever book any property that is managed by Vacasa again.

We have stayed at this hotel directly through the hotel before and it has wonderful staff. Going through Wyndham took a lot away all of the Personal Touch the Carillon Beach Inn provides.

Not the same unit as pictured when booked

I searched for the perfect place and thought I found it based on pictures. When we checked in the room was different, very old. Dirty. Stains on sofa. Gross. When I tried to change they said you don’t always get what is pictured on VRBO. There was no one who seemed like they knew what was going on. Even got a call asking if we got it worked out from the person we thought was working it out. I had no number to call because the number for “the owner” was actually the same person who was in the office during check in. So disappointed. I was so excited about this Valentine/Birthday weekend and we ended up trying to figure out places to go so we didn’t have to sit in outdated/old/dirty room.

Not this hotel if you need WiFi

Our studio suite was fine but a little dated with carpet stains. The bedroom was noisy and lights from the outside entry way could not be blocked. The biggest problem was with the WiFi which was spotty and unreliable. I needed to log on to work, but that was impossible.

Not suited for just one night stay

Check in was a mess; no clear instructions or even a map to the unit or to pools and amenities. Unit would be a tight fit for more than 2 people. Be prepared to drive to find restaurants in February.

Nice hotel and close to the beach. Beautiful comm

Enjoyed walking around the community.. The homes and property is incredibly beautiful. There are many pools and the beach access is very accommodating. The location is close to Hwy. 30A where there are many beautiful new developments with lots of activities and restaurants.

It was a quick overnight, but we got to see the beautiful surroundings and wished we could stay longer. Our Unit was lovely and made for a very comfortable stay. Great views.

Great Stay- very comfortable

Great stay here. Very friendly staff and the close proximity to the beach is a big plus. The lake is awesome for easy kayaking.

Great view and nice room

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. According to the woman at the front desk, we were lucky to have gotten one of the nicest rooms on the property. The rooms are apparently owned by different people and are kept in different conditions. We were very pleased with everything in our room and everyone was very friendly! The location of the hotel was not too far from downtown (about a 10-15 minute drive). The walk to the beach was less than five minutes and the pool was fabulous!! Would definitely go back again!

Don't book here.

This hotel was not at all like the photos. The room was dirty and dark. I asked for a different room and they said this was the only one available. I spoke to the manager and she said I can cancel the room at no charge. I had to re-book at the hotel, but not with the Wyndom Resort Group. I am still waiting on my refund and very very very unhappy. I dont recommend this hotel or booking company.

Nice place-but a little disorganized

We booked this hotel for a quick night in Panama City after flying in late from Colorado. We did not realize the set up is more condo, than hotel. Therefore, there is not a front desk that is open late. You have to locate a lock box and call a number to get the code. A little inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. However, there was no map with the key so it was a little tough finding our unit in the dark. All of units open to the outside. When we got to the room, we discover the keys don't work. That is because our room was given to someone else! Awesome. He had the same issue, and someone gave him our room. Someone screwed up somewhere along the line...not sure what happened. Ultimately the after hours person on the phone got the manager to come back over, and she gave us a different unit. But this was an hour plus of nonsense just to get in the door. A better description online of how the after hours things works and a more organized staff would help. Otherwise the condo was cute and clean and perfect for our needs.
