Great hotel by the beach

Great Hotel in a great location. We loved the 25 minute stroll into town each night, past the great bars and restaurants. Beach access was straight across the road with free beds. Free parking etc. it was just great. Room was lovey, only slight criticism was few places to hang towels but you could get them changed if they didn’t dry. All in all a great place!

Had a really relaxing family holiday. Atlantis Beach is lovely and clean, the rooms are modern and there’s lots of storage space. It’s the first time that I’ve been to a hotel where you genuinely don’t need to worry about getting a sunbed around the pool or on the beach. Take your time going to breakfast and there’s always space when you’re ready. Staff are extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. You will never have trouble finding somewhere to eat near the hotel and the town is only about a 20-30 minute walk. Nice and easy as long as it’s not a really hot day. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Rethymnon.

Good location across the road from the beach but a good 20-25 minutes to the old town. Plenty of restaurants around and the breakfast was brilliant. A real minus is the bathroom. Very poor design. Extremely difficult to get into the bath and shower. Very dangerous. Not many could get in and out easily.

After a slight hiccup with the room , although it was facing the sea it was also facing a busy road we were quickly moved to another room away from the main hotel which was much better . All the staff were extremely polite and friendly a special mention to the man behind the desk who spoke excellent English for his help and restaurant recommendations the bell boy who helped with the luggage and Angelic the restaurant manageress . The hotel was very clean and the sun beds were the best. Supermarket was next door and the Old Town was about 15 mins walk along the sea front The private beach was certainly not the prettiest I have seen but had plenty of free sun beds with the staff getting you drinks etc from the hotel. We had a great holiday and hopefully will be back. Thank you to the manager who changed our room.

Faultless - absolutely wonderful stay here.

Just back from our stay at The Atlantis Beach and it was an absolute pleasure. Everything about it was brilliant. Location, pool and facilities all excellent. Every day started with the best buffet breakfasts! We did use the lovely pool, but with the beach over the road with plenty of beds on the private stretch of beach, along with the fantastic staff there to get you drinks, food and help with anything, we used the beach most days. The walk to the harbour/old town was between 20 & 30 minutes but there are shops/bars/restaurants all along the route. What we did notice on our walk into the old town each night was that the nearer you got to it, the more cramped the beaches were with beds. From The Atlantis, there was plenty of space, so we really did think we stayed in the best location. A taxi to and from the old town was only 5 euros if we were feeling lazy! What is exceptional about this hotel is its staff. They work so hard but are always smiling - charming - every single one of them. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a great hotel!

A fantastic hotel, great buffet breakfast with really friendly staff. Our children want to go back every year- the pool was perfect for them and the massive beach opposite the hotel was never crowded. Great sunsets too in the evening. The most relaxing holiday we have had as a family in a long time. Thank you

Very nice stay at Atlantis Beach.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Drinks are fairly expensive around the pool and bar, you will pay nearly €3 for a 250ml fizzy drink or small beer. All round a very good hotel with a supermarket right next door which is reasonably priced. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel by Rethymno city beach

The room descriptions on the hotel website didn't match Hotels.com. I booked an Economy Room which was listed as a Promo Room on the hotel website and I had the exact same room as my friend who booked Superior Garden View Room. Otherwise everything was great - the hotel is lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was really nice. Breakfast buffet has a large selection of sweet and savoury items, hot and cold. Location is great across the street from the beach with about a half an hour walk into the old town. The pool area is also really nice but we spent most of our days at the beach where you get free loungers and can order food and drinks from the hotel restaurant. Staff are lovely and helpful too, altough we did have some miscommunication before arrival as they kept mixing up my booking with my friend's booking even though we booked separately.

Veldig flott hotell med hyggelig betjening og bra beliggenhet. Vi ble oppgradert til rom med sjøutsikt. Litt støy fra biltrafikk på balkongen, men nydelig utsikt. Fin strand. Mange restauranter i nærheten og gangavstand til sentrum. Vi drar gjerne tilbake!
