Love Blanco

Second time that we’ve stayed here. We really enjoyed our time there. Blanco is one of our favorite places to visit. Great eating establishments next door and in town. Highly recommend.

This is such an amazing little getaway! We loved our time in Villa #2. It it was very large and nice and so comfortable. The balcony/patio was wonderful. This is going to sound ridiculous but the linens were amazing and smelled so fresh and the bed was divine! The only thing this room needs is some comfy chairs inside. If you are truly wanting a small town/non commercialized Texas getaway, this is it. Blanco is a charming little town with great food and the most beautiful River!

Great Getaway

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The place was very nice and just loved the room and property. Room was clean with comfy pillows and bed. The bathroom in the villas was huge! Great place to stay. We only stayed one night but when we go again i will definitely stay longer!

The villa I rented was clean, comfortable, and great overall value. The only drawback was the key lock on the gate to gain access to the river road and no ice machine for guests. Overall, I would recommend for couples seeking a romantic getaway.

Hill country base camp for eclipse

Well appointed cottage with a beautiful view. As advertised with smooth check in and very quiet except for the busy highway really close with lots of truck traffic. Clean overall but some of the linens could use refreshing as they seemed a little worn.

Our annual stay in Blanco

We stayed here at Blanco Riverside several years ago and since then it has become an annual vacation spot. Love the location right next to the state park with a view of the river. Walkable at the south edge of town and Josie’s restaurant right next door. Mini-kitchen with utensils is convenient for takeout. Had to reboot the Dish network box (froze up) for the tv but that wasn’t much of a big deal. Very clean and quiet. Most importantly we love having a whole cabin to ourselves. We’ll keep coming back!

Comfortable and Relaxing

We were looking for a relaxing getaway to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and this looked like a very nice place to stay for the price. The room was very comfortable and the view overlooking the courtyard and Blanco river was beautiful. Super close to the state park so we were able to take a nice hike throughout the park without having to get in our car to drive to the park. There is a gate that connects the courtyard to the park but the combination we were given didn't work, so we just walked the extra little bit to get to the park entrance. There was no staff on site but when we needed anything, they were quick to answer their phones and were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The parking is not good for elderly and the tub isn’t either and the bed is worn down. It looks pretty but is not comfortable. Very expensive for all of these issues.
