My wife and I are really impressed with this place. We’ve stayed at a lot of cabins around the state and this one is by far the best one. The cabin has on floor heating which is a huge plus for us.

Nice small family resort. Cottage had plenty of space. It was well supplied and everything worked. Local ice cream was a nice touch. Good location and nice views. Just don’t expect many amenities or a refined, modern experience.

Such a cute little cabin, everything was very clean and we had more than we needed for our stay. Owners were very easy to communicate with and so helpful, beds were very comfortable and internet was very fast. The water at the private beach is so clear as well. A great little cottage had all we needed and was so restful under the oaks we wanted to stay longer. Much appreciated the air conditioning for it was unseasonably hot. Beach was much smaller than anticipated and hard on old knees rather inaccessible but worth the sunrise view! The beds were fine. The owner went out of her way to keep us informed and was very kind and thoughtful. Would recommend to anyone going to the area.

A hidden Gem!

great place! well stocked, comfortable. firewood is free and provided. bring charcoal (we left our bag, pay it forward). the bay is calm and sandy. The Ice Cream was divine! Great communication via text. I had chose stay at property so we settled up via phone on checkout morning. I look forward to staying there again.

Communication was excellent. Property was in a beautiful location and close to everything we wanted to see. The beds and bedding were comfortable and there was even locally made ice cream in the freezer for us! The cabin we stayed in was pretty old and dated, but clean and had everything we needed. Wish the windows had better blinds. Nothing but semi sheer curtains for privacy. That’s the one thing we wished was improved. Great stay!

We loved our stay here. Our cabin was clean, well supplied, and spacious. There were plenty of towels, the kitchen had enough dishes, pots, and pans for us, and the property owners even supplied us with a container of locally made ice cream as a welcome gift. One of the nice features of this property is how close we were to the lake shore. All we had to do was walk about 20 yards down a path and we were at the water's edge. My wife kept commenting on how this property would make a great spot for multiple families to come together for a reunion or something similar.

From the time of booking Katie had reached out to let us know exactly where we would be going when we arrived and made our entire stay so enjoyable! She recommended we try to catch the mind blowing Northern Lights and had her sister deliver the most delicious “welcome ice cream”! They recommended some hikes we had not done other times in the area as well! The cottage was clean, comfortable, quiet, had everything you would need including firewood and in a great location!! The address is Ashland and it is minutes from the business district in the best possible way - it felt more like remote, lakefront and miles from everything because it was so peaceful but also near some of our favorite restaurants. I highly recommend this property and will be back!
