Very nice BUT shame about the drains smell.

Right, this apartment is obviously recently refurbished, and overall its very nice. It's I. A great location, literally 10 mins walk to Plaza Mayor, passing lots of bars/restaurants/shops etc. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, well I say comfortable, it was except for the really awful smell from the drains in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant, and no it wasn't from our own bowel movements before anyone asks, it was a shame really, we bought an air freshener but even that wasn't enough. I would have no hesitation staying here again if the drains had been sorted, and of course if I ever return to Madrid. The staff by the way were excellent, even the night security man, who definitely deserves a mention for his pleasantness and willingness to help, just a shame about that smell.

Pleasant stay close to central Madrid

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Spacious room. Nice and quiet part of La Latina, and very close to the city centre. Limited check in hours made things a little difficult though.

Great apartment but rip off late checkin charge

Everything was great: location, cleanliness, service etc. However I didn't expect to have to pay £30 por a slightly late checkout. This should be made much clearer to customers at the time of booking BEFORE paying a non-refundable reservation. I only started for 2 nights, so £30 added £15 per night, making it much less competitive than other places in the area, when the offer seemed amazing at first sight.

Overall Acceptable considering the price. 1. Bed is only 1.35 m width, it is a relatively small bed for two people. 2. Bedroom is corner is not fully covered by wifi coverage. 3. No daily cleaning, you will only entitle one cleaning service with stay 6 days or more, if you would like to have the extra cleaning service, it would be Euro 15/time. 4. Reception is only until 21:00 at night. Location is closed to metro station - La Latina, there are small supermarket (kind of express store), small cafe etc, a convenience place. Walkable distances to Sol, Plaza Mayor. Customer services of reception depending on the person on duty. No washing machine/facility in hotel, there is laundry with 100m (Euro 9.80/5 kg)

A lovely surprise to spend 3 nights in a spotlessly clean hotel/appartment. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed and central to the heart of the town. Loved staying here and would definitely return.

Great Central location, lovely clean rooms.

Really great accommodation on the face of it, really modern well furnished rooms. It really great central location, only 5 mins walk from La Latina Metro with most sites within walking distance. The reception staff were excellent. Only real gripe is lack of hanging space in otherwise excellent bathroom plus only a large window blind which didn't keep out the light.

A great alternative to a B&B hotel!

Apartment was EXACTLY as shown in pictures. Get one facing the Calle Calatrava street if you can. We were going to go for a B&B hotel in Central Madrid, but we found this place and it worked out nearly half the price! This is a VERY clean and spotless apartment, with most appliances provided (no kettle, they may have one but we never asked as we used a pan instead!). Spent 4 nights here and all the staff at the front desk were really helpful from check-in to checkout. A great alternative to a B&B hotel as there are a number of bars, supermarkets, convenience stores, and places to eat within a 2 mins walk, or to buy food for breakfast before exploring! If you want to see another side of Madrid as opposed to just the touristy central areas, this is a great place to consider. Located within a 5 min walk of La Latina metro station & a 10 min walk to Plaza Major, this apartment was convenient for what we had planned. We felt safe in the neighborhood walking from early morning to late at night. I would recommend this place to couples, singles, business stays, and even families if your happy going down the self catering option.

Ideal in locality to most places of interest, plenty of bars on restaurants with lots of choices. Apartments are very secure double security doors. Maned 12 hours a day. No safe in the rooms for valuables. Fantastic city lots to do and see.

Very tidy apartment with excellent staff!

Blown away by how warm and friendly all the staff were (especially Luis).The room was impeccably clean (and you can't hide from that when your colour scheme is white!) They also offer shuttle transport for a small fee from the airport.

A very nice stay

I wanted an apartment hotel for a short stay. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Everything in the studio room was very good right down to tea-towels and washing up liquid etc. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful and the spoke perfect English. The hotel is well situated for shops for supplies if you choose to self cater. I would certainly return.
