The people were great but our room had a bad smell, obvious every time we entered it. The manager responded to our complaint, but couldn’t fix the issue- the airfreshner help. The manager also got the floor washed after we complained that it was dirty. So the response was good but shouldn’t be needed.

Well located, very easy to walk around. The rooms were clean and had a good size. The breakfast was not a buffet and it was expensive for what it had. The staff were friendly.

Pretty perfect

Everything was great, the staff is amazing, so helpful and caring, they offer to keep your luggage before you ask (which is then stored in a secured room, for free). Kitchen in the room has every utensil you might need (I was really impressed). If needed you can work in the lobby, there are regular and USB plugs. Hotel is well located. Only thing to be aware if you're a light sleeper is that the vents on the windows cannot be closed so you do hear street noises as if the windows were slightly open (this is due to French legislation and not the hotel's fault. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Marseille.

The hotel was good, staff excellent, everytime there was a security guy around but being close to the train station you can meet not pleasant people(like pickpockets, some users). Police almost everycorner.

I like the cosy appartment. The personell was great. The only disadvantage was the loud noise at night of the addicts under our window in the street behind. I understand that the hotel can nothing do about this problem.

Nice apartment hotel in walking distance to the train station and the old port. The hotel was friendly, hip and the staff nice. I would not recommend to walk in the streets in the night but this is everywhere in Marseille. In the courtyard there are some drug dealers but you just see them from the window and everything is still safe - there is no way from the courtyard to the hotel.

Hotel staff was very nice and spoke English. We were on the 6th floor with no view of anything spectacular. Its Mid November and it was 35C (95F) in our room and they wouldnt unlock the AC control. We opened the balcony door to let the cool air in, but ended up having to close it due to the bugs and getting bug bites. Could of been bug bites but pretty sure it was mosquitoes. Smart TV but not hooked up properly. Food was okay. If you are starving its okay. But walk 10 minutes and get something good.

The property was in a good location and had amenities that were helpful such as a laundry room. They also provided lemon water in the lobby each day which was a nice touch. Our room had a nice little outdoor balcony had we decided to use it more. Bed was OK but a little firm. Front desk staff were nice and helpful to a degree. It was also nice to have real plates, glasses, and cutlery in a hotel for some of those excellent leftovers. What was not so great was the smell in the front bathroom/kitchen area, the lack of more regular cleaning, and we had a very noisy neighbor at the end who had no inside voice. It was also unclear about some of the requirements such as using the dishwasher at the end of a stay (or if we had to do dishes at the end of the stay... i just hand washed and put everything back since it was not clear what the expectations were)? Or instructions on the microwave/oven? Maybe we are dumb, but it was hard to figure out (the microwave) and we don't know exactly how we got it to work the two times we did. Not exactly their fault but a sign or instruction sheet for that type of microwave would have been super helpful (I have used dozens and dozens of microwaves throughout my life, but never one so unclear as this). Also no ice machine or easy to get a bucket of ice from the front desk is not ideal. I know the French don't use ice like we do, but the other hotels that have it available feel so much nicer and we used that option every night where/when we could!

Un très bon séjour

3 eme séjour au Staycity, toujours très bien pour ma part, très bon accueil , logement propre et utile avec tout ce qu'il faut, bonne literie également. Bon emplacement même si le coin peut être un peu "craignos" surtout le soir il est à un emplacement pratique pour tout visiter avec 2 lignes de métro juste à côté et pas loin à pieds de la gare et du vieux port ( moins de 10 min ) Juste un manque de lumière pour la chambre 104.Je reviendrai sûrement.
