Book with time for a guaranteed wonderful stay!!

The watch of Sunset over the Sea of Japan from this property was outstanding!! I got the last room left in the entire town for this holidays in August so I Actually consider myself lucky! The layout of the room was ugly but after I moved things around the energy got better. Those who booked ahead in time got the best rooms at the building top floors and had the choice of booking the great Japanese dinner served in the room. The Onsen had great location and I was given the gift of a full moon from heaven! One of the best Japanese sweets and biscuits I have ever tasted were served there. The drainage of the shower room was bad, but the Onsen facilities were amazing!

日本海に沈む夕日を眺めたいだけなら可。

鶴岡駅の送迎はビジネス客はだめ、と断わられ、1時間に1本しかない路線バス利用。バス所要45分、プラス坂道歩き13分。バス停までは送迎可、とのこと。建物は古いです。仕事、バスの関係で朝ご飯開始の7時半前の出発を告げると朝ホカホカの弁当を用意してくれ、終わりよければ全てよし。 藤沢周平の小説にも出てかますが、静かな小さな海辺の静かな温泉街。鶴岡市街へのアクセス重視は派には不向き。

おもてなしの第1印象が良くなかった。

夕食のズワイガニは冷凍戻し、囲炉裏の海老は焼きすぎ、部屋は寒く、ほったらかし。とてもおもてなしとは、遠い存在でした。
