Perfect R&R

This is the quiet side of Kolocep. The staff are excellent; competent, gracious and thoughtful. The food is excellent and the setting superb.

We will come back!

Fantastic small and cozy hotel in a secluded setting! Excellent, dedicated and caring staff, very helpful and kind. Good and fresh food in the wonderful restaurant, portions on the smaller side however. Very good breakfast. We took a taxi transfer and private boat directly from the airport to the hotel, all booked through the hotel, arriving there in just an hour!

The staff and amenities are 5*at this property. It is all in the small details that make your stay remarkable. The best place to take in fine cusine, drinks and views. The staff truly care about your experience and go out of their way to maye it as enjoyable as possible from the outstanding breakfast to the kayaks provided for an excusurion. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here

The setting is beautiful, just a few steps from the water in a tiny bay with crystal clear sea and views of the mainland. The suites are spacious with cool interiors (the head boards in the bedrooms are fab) . The food is very special and the staff amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone so kind and friendly. This is an amazing hotel and I will definitely be returning

The location of the hotel was great with stunning views. Areas do need attention to detail Such as broken decking slabs around the pool and debris in the water from the boats that visit for the day ! We expected a quiet remote hotel but did not envisage the influx of boats arriving with music and kids /dogs leaving rubbish in the water . Nor day trippers using the hotel cabanas which we thought were for the use of hotel guests only . The website shows 4 set dinner menus plus al a carte yet these were not available. Limited menu with no vegetables to order as side dishes We booked a premium suite with terrace yet there was only one sunbed !

Kalamota Beach House is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed at. We stayed for 2 weeks and every second was pure chillout.. With only 11 bedrooms, you get amazing service from all the staff, everyone of them eager to please.. the restruant manager and his staff are really great with a relaxed manner, but professional at the same time.. The food is also excellent. The Island of Kolocep is very small, with no cars, but lots of footpaths which gives access to all points of the island, with stunning views from cliff tops towards other nearby islands which are reached by ferry.. If you want to stay in a small boutique hotel, with excellent food, really lovely rooms with sea views.. this is for you. On every point it gets a 10 rating, every member of staff wanting to help at all times.. Never had a holiday that has relaxed us so much.. we just have to go back to this paradise!!

What an outstanding experience we had! My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty by the staff. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly. My husband wasn’t feeling well the day we arrived and all the staff went out of their way to help him feel better, including picking us up from the ferry port and bringing up complimentary food and juice to our room for him. The island itself is extremely picturesque and beautiful. It’s also quiet and there is no issue finding a beach chair or beautiful spot to relax for the day. The food at the restaurant was always great. We had many meals there and everything was always amazing. Mario the manager is so kind and really tries to give his guests the best experience possible, as do his staff. We were really blown away and without a doubt, it’s the best service we’ve had at any hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We are looking forward to returning and would recommend to anyone!

No stone unturned from the staff that made myself,my Mum and my Sisters stay extra special. From the minute we arrived the staff were excellent.The accommodation was wonderful with the most amazing views,I would highly recommend this small hotel if your after a quiet holiday.

Fantastic not crowded hotel to stay!!! Hotel amenities are perfect, pool on the roof is modern and view from it just gorgeous, breakfasts and dinners also great, it is lovely to eat dinner outside, with beautiful views from the hotel, hiking trails, lots of nice little bays to swim in Turquoise Adriatic within walking distance from the hotel, and just 30 minutes boat ride from Dubrovnik, I will be back there😀😀😀

A hidden gem

Stylish, new and modern hotel located at a charming harbor on the quiet island of Kolocep just north of Dubrovnik. Rooftop pool provided amazing views and great swimming for the kids. The food at the restaurant was good and the staff provided excellent service. Would definitely visit again.
