I planned my vacation (girls trip) several months ago. I requested 2 rooms, double beds needless to say we were given KING BEDS. The upgrade for the inconvenience was a room on the 6th floor(my room was initially on the 4th floor)Making the best of a bad situation we decided to add an extra day. Needless to say the room request for an extra day was never made by the resort representative. We were left scrambling for a room which is why i turned to Expedia. The resort would not discount a downgraded room as compensation for there error. It was suggested by a resort Supervisor to check with Expedia or 3rd party booking company for a lower rate. The resort is BEAUTIFUL the compassion/service leaves ALOT to be desired. I

My husband & I stayed at Sensimar Seaside Suites & Spa from 3/24/18-3/30/18 & had the most wonderful, relaxing and pampered vacation ever! The staff from the moment of our arrival were very engaging & attentive. The grounds are beautiful and constantly maintained by all the wonderful staff working there.This is our 3rd stay at a Karisma property and we both agree this one is our absolute favorite! Our personal conceirge Ula was very friendly, personable and helpful making our dinner reservations ,spa appointments &just checking in to see how we were doing. I took morning yoga classes with Edgar who made everyone feel comfortable and at ease, outdoors just above the beach.We relaxed on the beautiful beach every day & were able to get a bali bed in a great spot. We were spoiled by Erbie ,our Beach Butler who always greeted us with the warmest smile and served us delicous appetizers throughout the day.The beach waitresses were awesome, always checking in to see if we would like a cocktail. We had delicous ,healthy & beautifully presented meals at every place we dined our entire vacation with wonderful staff. We had great breakfasts & awesome, attentive staff at the Beach Barbeque (Yobani) and Arrecifes (Alexis). We enjoyed delicious lunch meals at Boutique Burger and Beach BBQ. We had (2) very romantic and delicous Italian meals at Mia Casa (Jose) a very authentic Mexican dinner at La Carreta (Angel) & delicious Asain cuisine at Klay Talay. Gracias & we hope to return soon!!

El dorado seaside suites

Nuestra habitacion muy cerca de la playa y aunque la suite contratada era "ocean front view" la vista era demasido reducida ya que estabamos en el primer piso y la vegetacion tapa mucho la vista de la playa y el mar, pero aun asi era bonita y poco usual. El personal esta sumamente bien entrenado siempre sonrien y siempre te saludan con un Hola, nunca pasa nadie frente a un huesped sin saludarlo; los meseros extremadamente atentos y amables en especial Abraham del restaurante junto a la alberca y la hostess tambien muy atenta. La calidad de la comida es mucho mejor que cualquier otro hotel "all inclusive" ya que aqui si aplican lo de "gourmet inclusive" el restaurante oriental de maravilla, en fin muy buna comida. La playa parece una alberca ya que no hay oleaje por los rompeolas que impiden que haya marea alta. la atencion de los meseros en la playa muy buena y bebidas premium. Es nuestro 4 viaje a El dorado y seguiremos yendo. Hay que estar muy atentos al momento de hacer la reservacion ya que el nuevo hotel que ellos mismos construyeron al lado le estan poniendo el mismo nombre "El Dorado Sea side suites" pero este es un hotel bastante feo, nada que ver con las instalaciones del original si es nuevo pero los espacios estan sumamente reducidos. Al hotel original le estan cambiando el nombre por el de "TUI Sensimar"

El hotel bien cuidado y limpio. La comida podía ser mejor. Le faltan meseros pues los que tienen, no son suficientes o les falta entrenamiento pues su servicio muy lento.
