This is not a Hotel

We visited Zeno during vacation and expected a “apartment hotel” but is not a hotel - it is a privately owned nursery home who rent out empty apartments. You pick up your breakfast in the nursery home dining room, and are asked to eat in your room. Our room was dirty. Reception lady was very friendly trying to help. Not at all what we expected and we were embarrassed to enter “other people’s” home and feel a kind of disrespect just walking in/out privacy of older and not healthy residents.

Rummet / studion var jättefin och det var rent. Stor balkong och tyst läge nära centrum. Men det ligger inne i ett seniorboende. Reception öppen för check in endast mellan 16-19 vilket gör det svårt att passa in. Trevlig personal.

ganz sicher nie wieder!!

200.- Euro Kaution - das haben wir noch nie erlebt! Einchecken hat sehr lange gedauert, da der Zahlungsterminal nicht funktionierte und die Warteschlange immer länger wurde. Das Frühstück war eine grosse Enttäuschung. Die Auswahl war äusserst mangelhaft und überhaupt nicht ansprechend. Uns taten die Senioren leid, welche dort wohnen und selbst an einem Sonntag ein solch karges, liebloses Frühstück vorgesetzt bekommen. Obwohl wir zwei Übernachtungen gebucht haben, verliessen wir gerne diese nicht ansprechende Unterkunft nach der ersten Nacht. Die Fotos auf der Homepage versprachen ein ganz anderes Ambiente. Wir waren enttäuscht!
