Many positives aspects to Stamford Suites. It was clean - especially the kitchen and, yes, there is a full kitchen with gas stove, full sized refrigerator (!) and even a small dishwasher. The suite was very roomy. Location in Stamford is great! The staff is very accommodating. I slept extremely well there-bed was quite comfortable. If you are staying for awhile and need storage there are multiple closets! Rooms are bright with natural light - important to me. Yes, the hotel is a bit tired around the edges. The shower faucet was not brilliant. No coffee maker in room. But the positives outweigh the minor inconveniences!

My husband has cancer, and we had to cancel our vacation to accommodate his tests. We live an hour+ away from Stamford, so we thought we'd spend the night there so we wouldn't have to get up early to drive to the testing site. And try to make a fun stay in the middle of this difficult time. So I was disappointed that it wasn't in better shape. Plusses: the room was clean and spacious, the wifi and elevator worked. The sofa was hard but comfy enough, and we watched a couple of TV shows. We didn't use the kitchen, but the counters were damaged. Cosmetic, but it added to a negative overall impression. Minuses: The room smelled of the cleaner hotels use to mask the smell of smoke. The whole place did. The bathroom light was very dim. The shower had a handheld shower head and no door, so the water went everywhere. I cleaned it up. The water temperature was impossible to control and I nearly scalded myself. The toilet made scary noises after flushing, but nothing bad happened. The bedroom lights: 2 out of 5 worked: 1 worked after we jiggled the base and tightened the bulb, the two reading lights didn't work at all. One of them lacked a bulb. The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress too hard, pillows too soft. I'm a mess of aches today. Breakfast was continental, serve yourself. Your choice of carb, plus coffee, tea, and milk.

Pretty run down hotel with old cheap finishes and lackluster…everything. One upside was being able to park our van in front of the police station across the street.

Unsatisfied stay for the price paid.

The bathroom had only two small hand towels and 2 medium sized bath towels. Breakfast was the worst. First day the bread tasted moldy, second day there was nothing left for breakfast at 8:25 am

The apartment has a kitchen with basic utensils. The property cleaning staff did not asked me to clean suite unfortunately dropped my computer and broke screen. RVFV once again is involved as well as Roxanna Guevara.

A Literal Nightmare

SIMPLY HORRIFIC, a NIGHTMARE! To begin with had I seen the room before I checked in (and paid your quoted rate + a surprise nonrefundable $100 deposit demanded at the arrival) my husband and I would have immediately gone elsewhere!!! The room and furnishings were all old and used far beyond normal wear and tear!!! There wear varied stains (black, red, yellow) on the floors and carpet! There were complete areas of the carpet that were raveled completely across the room. The plumbing in the bathroom stool ran continuously. There was white powder around the closet floor corners which was possibly some kind of disinfectant or chemical. And each time we left and returned to the room we would have to get a new key because the keys would not hold data. There was even a huge place in the hallway floor with broken tiles due to the uneven floor. The elevators were dirty and filthy. The interior room photos provided online certainly do not match the reality. I registered my complaint with management and even showed them all the photos I had taken and they agreed. Management shared that they were under new ownership and was willing to make an adjustment BUT claimed they could not because we had booked the stay online though your service. This property should not be offered under your banner. We have used your service previously and have been completely satisfied. This seriously hinders our confidence in sharing or booking future rentals through your service!

While the physical property is well maintained, generally it could use a facelift and update. Also, the windows have not been cleaned in some Time!
