Beautiful Hornfleur

A wonderful stay, at a wonderful apartment in a wonderfully pretty and interesting town. We booked this as a halfway stop between Nantes and Calais on our journey back to Dover and then onto Norfolk. We are going to return next year to the same apartment and spend a few more days in the very pretty town of Honfleur.

Very good place to stay for central Honfluer easy to find with free parking and within 5min stroll to the town. small pool but lovley for a dip after a journey. Breakfast reasonably priced with a good selection. Would stay there again.

Original room had an adjoining room door. We could hear the family next door as if the door was open. We were upgraded to a kitchen style room with a great view of yhe Honfleur bridge. Pizza at the hotel was ok and filled the void. Free parking on site, breakfast not included but available. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cereal, coffee, etc.

Great 2nd stay at the Tulip - 1 bedroom apartment and pool is fab, as is the proximity to the town centre - parking on site can be a lottery though

We had a fabulous stay at Tulip Inn. The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. We had a problem with our refrigerator and a replacement was provided immediately. We loved the pool - more often than not we were the only ones using it and the sauna was an added bonus! Honfleur was a short walk away. A perfect stay- comfortable beds and great having the option to self - cater. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to return 😊

Accessible hotel in Honfleur

Checking in and out in this hotel was quite easy as the receptionists were friendly and accommodating even though communicating with us in English was challenging. We booked a room with a kitchenette and it was spacious; it had sufficient storage to hang our clothes and store our things. Also, the bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was great. However, the condition of the room was in dire need of improvement and maintenance .The drapes were stained and dingy, mold on the bedroom‘s ceiling, the heaters and the air conditioning were not working ( they were turned off ), towel warmer in the bathroom was broken. In addition , the hotel is located on the main street, making it an easy driving access to the old town, but, there is no pedestrian crossing from the hotel to reach the sidewalk across the street, this is quite hazardous for pedestrians. Finally, as the hotel offers laundry facilities, it is essential that it mentions that it is with a cost and it has to be arranged during front desk hours.

Établissement propre, l'accueil très agréable. Le spa est bien. Bémol, la machine à café a des dosettes non compatibles obligeant à acheter celles sur place. Le centre ville est à 12 minutes a pied, mais l accès n est pas très sécurisé pour retrouver le cheminement pietons.

Nous avions choisi cet hôtel parce qu’il disposait de bornes de recharge pour voiture électrique. À notre arrivée, toutes les places réservées aux voitures électriques étaient occupées par des voitures thermiques alors qu’il restait des places sur le parking. Nous n’avons donc pas pu recharger notre voiture alors que nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour ce côté pratique. À la réception, on nous a tout simplement dit qu’il y avait une place de parking par chambre et que c’était la règle du « premier arrivé, premier servi » qui s’appliquait. Cela aurait-il été la même règle pour les places handicapées ? L’hôtel n’a absolument rien fait pour demander aux propriétaires des voitures thermiques d’aller sur les places normales. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés à aller charger la voiture ailleurs. Mauvaise foi de la personne à l’accueil présente lors de notre départ.
