Check-in staff was helpful and easy process to deal with. Property feels very dated and smells quite musty (not sure if because of the rain). This property is quite a way from where everything else is. Though the view of the mountains from the villa was great

Villa has everything. Unfortunately wifi is not working. Need to drive to town. At night hotel sign board has no lights. Road also no street lamps, so easily missed the hotel when going back from Town.

Just ok.. not worth the money

Not very flexible and the facilities are old. Tried to get an extended check out to 11am as we only arrived at 10pm the night before and we're traveling with two kids and only staying one night. They wouldn't budge, and considered a half hr extension a huge favor. It's because they have contracted cleaners on the cheap and they're extremely inflexible. Not a good experience at all.

Good stay!

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. Everything was cosy and clean. Reception was so helpful and friendly - we appreciated their help recommending hikes and restaurants. The pet alpacas, sheep and the well-stocked dvd library were a bonus! Not in town, but as we had a car, we didn't mind.

Perfekt boende förutom wifiåtkomst

Boendet förstjänar 5 stjärnor men wifi funkar knappt, framförallt när många gäster använder wifi samtidigt. Mobil täckning också dåligt så man måste åka in till Franz Josef för att kunna använda internet. För övrigt ett perfekt boende; stort, rent och mycket trevlig personal.

My only regret was not booking more than one night here. It was a great property with comfortable amenities and so much green space for the kids to run around and play in. They also loved the sheep and cows on the property. The staff was super friendly and helpful too.

We were very pleased with Glenfern Villas. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a great covered parking area. This came in very handy since it was pouring rain. The staff was excellent and provided advice when our route was closed due to flooding.
