Best service in Buenos Aires

This is a great little boutique hotel about 3 blocks away from the heart of Palermo Hollywood and a mile or so from Palermo Soho. Their biggest selling point is the phenomenal service - all of their staff is attentive without hovering and goes out of their way to do all kinds of great little things, all of which make you feel like they really want to please you. Mercedes, in particular, stood out to us. PROS: -Incredible staff -Spacious rooms with fun design and all the amenities you expect, including some you don't such as a stereo, flip flops and windows that open -Comfortable furniture -Computers for guest use, including a printer -Breakfast to order -Hotel bar, that doubles as a night lounge for cocktails, etc. -Connected art gallery -Location -Only a few rooms (3 or less, I think) per floor -Excellent price / value ratio CONS -Room lighting is for ambience and isn't functional for reading or doing anything in the bathroom (shaving, makeup, etc.) -Could only book a junior suite with two beds - the larger full suites were king bed only -Mold in the shower, which was also weak -Hallways painted black and have these motion sensor lights that go off after about 45 seconds, leaving you in the pitch black until the elevator comes or you manage to activate the motion sensor -nightclub across the street meant zero sleep on Friday and Saturday nights

Convenient location

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were all extrememly helpful. The bed was comfortable and all the furniture was a gret condition. The location is a convenient walk to the metro at Plaza Italia so there were easy connections to the metro or the bus. The only complaint I would have at all it the bright blue lights on the HVAC and bedside lights that were always on. I had read about them in another review and just put tape over them and that made the roo dark enough to sleep.

Desilusión

Reservamos una habitación premium con cama King size...nos dieron la de la terraza, con evidentes signos de humedad (por manchas en paredes y techo, olor en los rincones y piso ondulado, zócalos en descomposición). Fue un fin de semana de sol. Si hubiera llovido nos hubieran dado otra! No hay tocador con luz. El espejo está sobre la pared al final de los lavabos, y sin un spot que lo ilumine. Por lo tanto es imposible maquillarse o afeitarse. El baño está a nuevo, pero el bidet está flojo. No había gorra de baño. Tuve que pedir. El conserje, solícito, me la alcanzó inmediatamente. La ubicación es inmejorable! La ropa de cama (sábanas y acolchado) excelentes. El desayuno pobre.

Excelente Hotel en Exclusiva Zona de Buenos Aires

Buen hotel en excelente zona, muy cerca de buenos cafés y restaurantes, amplia habitación y muy luminosa. Lo mejor de todo, el personal, la atención de Juan y Carlos fue inmejorable.

Good hotel. No wifi

Hotel was nice but we booked a room with the promise of wifi and there was no wifi in our floor. Staff didn't seem to care much about our complaints.

Nice hotel, but a few structural issues

It as a good experience, the location is fantastic and the staff is great too, always ready to solve the problems. The main issue is that a lot of the hotel facilities lack efficiency. For example, I had to change rooms because my heating was not working _in the middle of the winter, and they did not check this before accepting a host in that room. Apart from that, there were problems with the telephone, the shower (no hot water as well) and doors not working good too. Sound isolation is poor and you listen to other rooms. You get the impression that the hotel works with a lot of improvisation and not very much professionalism. Breakfast is nice, in a nice room with very good staff and many options. Own Hotel is pretty much like the average kind of "hotel boutique" you can find in Palermo, with few exceptions: they are charming and beautiful, you think you are in a pleasant place, but soon you understand a lot of small things do not work well, because it was made in a hurry with not very good material. They are in the right path, but still there is a lot of improvement that is urgently needed if they want to beat its rivals in the area. I also think all hotels in Palermo Hollywood are should do more to try to keep the streets around it safe and clean. They are not, and this is clearly a situation in which the hotels and restaurants united can put some pressure on local authorities. I would stay there again, but I think they can do better, because they have good will and staff

Ótima opção para noite, bares e restaurantes.

Equipe do hotel muito atenciosa e simpatica !!! Hotel charmoso, café da manhã simples mas muito bom, próximo a Palermo Soho e é circulado por algumas boates. Pra quem deseja conhecer a cidade a pé, recomendo se hospedar na Recoleta (localizaçao entre o centro e Palermo).

Location is superb!

A small but good hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are spacious and airy, the king bed is really comfy and the location of the hotel is marvellous.

Decent location

Decent location however there was a lot of dog doo on Cabrera street we had to constantly dodge....but to be fair, that is a problem almost everywhere in BA... the air conditioning only partially worked in our room so we were still a bit uncomfortable as it was miserably close to 40 degrees and super humid outside. It was still way too warm for us in the hotel room. Not much of a lobby with mostly just the reception desk and the breakfast area. Too hot in the lobby as well. Hotel room was nice and large though very modern (concrete).
