Do not stay there. They scammed me. When I got there they told me that the room was not reserved although I had made sure to call them and confirmed my reservation by phone a month prior to the reservation date. After spending half hour discussing back and forth, they found my Expedia reservation but asked me to wait because the room I requested was not available and they had to make up a room. I waited and got checked in. I got the room. But then they asked me to cancel the reservation because they “didn’t get the money from Expedia due to sanctions.” I was unable to cancel because it’s past cancellation deadline. I was forced to pay another same amount in local currency to stay there. Or I was asked to leave. At that point I was very tired after 22 hour flight and didn’t wanna bother finding another hotel that late. So I paid the amount they asked. Also, there was no power/electricity from 9am to 5pm every day due to the city’s frequent power outages. They had a generator but refused to run it before 5pm. In Yangon’s scorching heat, it was very cruel to let their guests stay in rooms with no AC. I argued back and forth with the owner lady by phone who was very unprofessional, disrespectful and inconsiderate. I would never stay there ever again.
