Very central in fact your right amongst the pubs & restaurants so quite noisy until the early hours if that bothers you. Nice reception area, spacious rooms, good value for money

Excellent location beside the castle with tram stop less than a minutes walk away. Only downside was it was very noisy all night as it overlooks a nightclub, they do give you earplugs...

Excellent location and exactly as described. Room and hotel facilities were great. Kitchen smelt of previous occupants cooking but this cannot be helped as no ventilation in the kitchen. The kitchen was separated behind a door so did not bother me.

The hotel felt very secure, was easy to reach by public transport, very clean and great showers and comfortable beds but the noise from outside was horrible. First all the people talking, then loud music, shouting, people fighting and yelling at each other, bottles being thrown in the street. They provide free earplugs and you need them!!! I barely slept on both nights I was there.

Apartment was greay great, good size ,comfortable bed and hard floors. Unfortunately it was the lake of air-conditioning and the noise from outside that let it down. But if you want a central hotel near bars,restaurants and transport it would be hard to beat it.

Great room and great location, male receptionist was the only downside. Would shout shh when you would walk through the reception when you were just talking and laughing on your way through 
 staring at you all the time and making you feel dead uncomfortable

Central but noisy

While the Appart’City Confort was very centrally located to all the main attractions, and the room’s kitchenette was well appointed, both my daughter and myself hardly slept at all due to the volume of noise from the street! As well, despite sending an email to the hotel almost a week before our arrival, I received no reply regarding parking until the morning of our arrival, by which time I was already on the road and had no wifi. This resulted in us driving circles around the pedestrian zone for quite some time to find parking, which ended up being quite a distance from the hotel, rather than being able to utilize the lot which was only 400 m away.

Noisy street bars, hot room and rude staff

Avoid if possible. The room is stuffy with no air condition and is directly above busy bars. The noise is incessant until 2am, adding this to the heat inside the room makes a sleepless night. There is no space for working in the reception area; so we used a table in the breakfast area (at 5pm) and was rudely told off by staff. I travel a lot for work and this has been one of the worst stays. Definitely do jo recommend this place.

If you are looking for a quiet and restful night then avoid this place like the plague! I was unfortunate enough to get a room right opposite a night bar which obviously had tables outside. The noise level was incredible and the room was incredibly hot which the hotel clearly knows about but conveniently forgets to let you know before you are actually checked in and cannot review your life choices! No air conditioning, no problem, here’s a dodgy fan to blow hot air around you. Noisy student bar opened till the wee hours of the morning?! No problem, we have generously provided you with a pair of ear plugs!! The last extra special add on is the smell of dirty drains throughout the hotel. A must stay in Nantes. NOT.

Intrusion of Privacy

Overall, we were OK with the hotel until one morning when someone knocked on the door. It was 9:30am on a Friday and we were not ready. Two staff asked if they could enter the room to count the towels and linen, "pour compter le linge". My wife was still in pyjamas, and we felt like a complete INTRUSION of our PRIVACY. They touched the bed linen with their hands, they looked around the room as if they were looking for something or if they were police. My regret was I should have asked for IDs before letting them in or call reception. Like I said, we were not quite awake, I wasn't ready for this, and this was so completely weird. It felt completely unnecessary. I have dual citizenship French and British, this wasn't a language problem. I can't imagine how someone who wouldn't speak French could process this situation. We have decided to never use this hotel group again as a result and waited over a month before writing this review.

De plus, lorsque nous avons demandĂ© les tarifs, il s’est contentĂ© de nous renvoyer vers une table derriĂšre nous, alors que votre site mentionne clairement un tarif de 5 euros. En tant que rĂ©ceptionniste, il est essentiel qu’il puisse fournir ce type d’informations de base plutĂŽt que de donner l’impression d’adopter une attitude du style « moins j’en fais, mieux je me porte ».
