This is an amazing spot. My family of 5 had everything we needed. I love that it was so close to city center but easily accessible. There is a pub next door that plays music a little late so if you like to go to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If we are ever in the area we will be back!

We loved this little apartment! Its location is excellent to walk to all the sights and restaurants of York. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved its location next to the city wall- very pretty. I could see how it would be hot in the upstairs in the summer since it was a tad warm when visiting in March. We would absolutely stay again.

Clean, new, near city center. Close to a pub beer garden a little nouse but this was not an issue. 10/10 Pre paid for paking no issues but first come first served with parking space even if you have booked and ore paid.

We had a great visit. Everything we needed was available. Fans in every room kept the rooms cool enough on a warm day. Communication and quick responses was very much appreciated when we had a couple of questions. As visitors from the states experiencing England for the first time, it was a great surprise that we could see the York City Wall and Ice House Building right from the balcony. Visitors should know that there is a popular pub right next door that can be clearly seen from the balcony but not inside the apartment. Noise was never an issue and the doors and windows were insulating that when shut, we couldn’t hear anything from outside. We stopped over at the pub for another good time. Overall, a great property and experience.

Super hyggelig lejlighed lige op af bymuren i York

Det er svært at finde en bedre beliggenhed lige op af bymuren og med 5 minutters gang til Minster. Der er ennda terrasse udenfor. Lejligheden var i fin stand og velforsynet med hvad man kunne få brug for. Eneste minus var at vinduerne i soverummene nedeunder ikke kunne åbnes.

Excellent apartment (no. 4)

This was a short but amazing stay at the apartments. The service before arrival was great and everything was explained in detail so we could just arrive, dump the bags and get going in York. The apartment (no 4) was so good, that we are thinking of booking another trip to York and will certainly stay here. Everything you need, inc some salt and paper which is always good!

The location was absolutely fantastic. Others have complained about noise from the beer garden below and while it could be heard I wouldn’t say it disturbed us and it’s the living area which is positioned there, rather than the bedrooms. The apartment was really clean and had everything you could’ve needed. It was a little on the small side and I think we’d have felt this if our stay had been for any longer than one night. Some lovely little extras left for us on arrival.

Apartment 7 is located directly above a beer garden. Impossible to open windows due to smoke and noise. This is not made clear in photographs or apartment description. It’s is not open green space behind apartment as shown on official photographs.

Floor space was pretty decent, however head space is limited to a 6 foot strip down the center of the property. The walls are only about 3 feet high, then they slope inwards. Those skylights you see in the pictures are at head height, and I'm under 6 feet. Second problem was that the toilet seat is not attached properly. Use extreme caution to avoid being pitched off the side while dropping a log.
