Ubicado pacíficamente a orillas del río Vermilion, Bayou Rose espera su visita al hermoso distrito histórico de Abbeville. Nuestra cabaña privada solo para adultos se encuentra en el corazón del país Cajún con nuestros numerosos festivales y restaurantes de mariscos. Un ambiente tranquilo y sereno donde uno puede ver a los patos y barcazas mientras bajan por el río. Escuchando los reconfortantes sonidos de los pájaros cantando o las campanas de la iglesia sonando río arriba mientras tomas tu café de la mañana en el porche o en el muelle privado con vista al río.

Las comodidades completas incluyen jabones de aromaterapia, una canasta de cortesía con una variedad de productos para el desayuno continental durante la duración de su estadía, café, leche, jugo y agua también es gratuito. ¡Y no olvidemos una porción gratuita de Cajun BOUDIN! Prepare su propio desayuno cajún en su cocina completamente equipada con acceso a una parrilla de barbacoa con vista al río Vermilion.

Nuestra cabaña privada de un dormitorio tiene una cama queen size en el dormitorio y un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar. Bañera y ducha de tamaño completo con lavadora y secadora. El detergente es de cortesía. Sala de estar y área de cocina tiene vistas de piso a techo del río Vermilion. Aire y calefacción centralizados, ventiladores de techo hacen que nuestra cabaña sea cómoda durante todo el año.

Estamos a 15 minutos de Lafayette, a 90 minutos de Baton Rouge, a 2 1/2 horas de Nueva Orleans, lo que facilita las excursiones de un día. Ven y disfruta de los numerosos restaurantes de nuestro pintoresco pueblo y de los numerosos festivales que nunca terminan.

Anne and Mike were excellent hosts. The one bedroom house was next door to their home but felt completely private. The view of the bayou was peaceful and the location convenient to the charming Abbeville town center as well as al the other Cajun communities.

This was our second stay at Bayou Rose, and we will return! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable little cottage with the perfect porch for rocking while you sip your coffee (or wine!), this is it. The kitchen is well-equipped, and Ann is very attentive. It’s just like staying with family, but you have the place to yourself!

Beautiful and Cozy Cottage

We loved our stay here. It was incredibly cozy and has such a beautiful view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a homey and relaxing place to stay in the area.

Perfect place for our Anniversary getaway!

Mrs. Anne is very hospitable and accommodating. The property is very peaceful and serene; ideal for relaxing but close enough to attractions and places of interest. The Bayou Rose cottage is a hidden gem worth staying at again.

Beautiful cozy spot on the Bayou!

We enjoyed our stay and Anne and Mike were so responsive and kind. The house was clean and well stocked, the owners make it to where you don’t need to bring anything! Very relaxing spot to get away to. Highly recommend!!

Really nice place

In town for a work trip and wanted to stay away from hotels. This place was everything I was looking for. Anne was great, property was nice and well kept, will stay again.

Lovely Getaway

Having been there 5 times, this is a perfect getaway and place to unwind and kick back. You can do as much or as little as you want. Hosts are super! Very considerate and leave the best treats! We’ll definitely be back!

Cozy cottage

The cottage is just precious and perfect for a get away from everyday life! The highlight for us was the porch which faces the Vermilion River, the perfect place to sit peacefully and enjoy the local wildlife. We also really enjoyed meeting the owners!

Right on the river

We are returning customers of the Bayou Rose. We have family in the area and love staying here. Anne and Mike are wonderful hosts! The location is perfect near Abbeville, restaurants and our family in Kaplan.

A pretty cottage on the banks of the vermillion

Fantastic Getaway

This is our fourth trip to this fabulous cottage. The hosts are great about giving ideas of what to do and great places to dine. But, just sitting on the back porch gazing at the bayou is super relaxing and gives a person a chance to chill and rewind.

Fabulous Place

This is our third visit to the Bayou Rose as it is in a wonderful location with fabulous hosts. We felt totally immersed into the Cajun way of life. The cottage is as cute as it can be and the porch a wonderful place to watch wildlife and relax

Wonderful Hospitality!

Anne and Mike made us feel like we were staying with family during our stay at the cabin for a family wedding. They had breakfast items and a warm welcome for us The cabin was spotless, and the view of the bayou from the porch and dock were spectacular and oh so peaceful. Our highest recommendation!

40th Anniversary Celebration

My wife and I had a weekend to spend here at Anne and Mike’s little house. We’ve rented these types of B&B’s many times. I can say this, you won’t find any house more stocked up than this one. If you’re looking for something you need and can’t find it, you’re not looking hard enough. A fantastic place. Food, culture, atmosphere and beauty, it’s all here. Great host and a great place. Two regrets. Didn’t go sooner and didn’t stay longer.

Absolutely Divine

Ann and Mike are top notch hosts. The little house is great. We will definitely be back when its cooler. That way we can sit outside on porch and enjoy the view. You will not regret staying here.

Ahhhhmazing!!!

It was great to have a sweet little place to rest and relax. We also toured Jefferson and Avery Island, went on a swamp tour, and ate great food. All of this at the recommendations of Anne and Mike. They treated us to delicious snacks as well. They go above and beyond as hosts!❤️
