Surfers Paradise

Toppen lÀge snabbt till centrum och stranden rakt över gatan. Vi bodde pÄ 26:e vÄningen och hade en fantastisk utsikt över Surfers Paradise. Rent och frÀscht, helt enkelt bra!

Was transferred two days before arrival to another property breakfree beachpoint further down the road smaller apartment no ocean views, was dirty, rubbish in the bin, couch was dirty and stained, no lights in main bedroom, beds were on the small side, only hanging space no drawers or shelves for folded clothes, still waiting reimbursement for non ocean room

The photos you see online to book look good but the actual apartments were very old, mould in the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen had a bad smell and there was dirt in the corners and the kitchen cupboards were filthy. When it rained, the water came inside from the balcony door. The only good and very clean thing was the ocean view from the apartment and the pool toilets that were very clean.

Room was not ready by 2pm as per the check in time. Furniture especially the lounge was very very old. Old kitchen with original stove etc and old appliances. Wall paint was terrible and needs repainting. Beds were average. Views of the beach were fantastic. Great indoor pool and spa. Limited visitor parking.

The location is excellent. Short walk to everything. Patrolled, beautiful beach straight across the road. The view was stunning from the 14th floor. Unfortunately my room was very tired and worn and well overdue for a renovation. Compared to my other family members who were in beautifully renovated rooms, I paid the same price as them which is a bit disappointing. The carpet is almost threadbare and very stained. The kitchen was fantastic and a laundry in the room was great. No air conditioning to the bedrooms was a major disappointment. The undercover swimming pool was great for the children. Overall it was a terrific stay and would definitely stay again in another room. The 180 degree views of Surfers Paradise truly made up for the tired old room.

Great position but lacking in comfort

The wide ocean view from the lounge room was great but having only one air conditioner for a 2 bedroom apartment where one of the bedrooms didn’t even have a window that opened was well below expectations. The lounge looked 20 years old and needed replacing several years ago. Only one TV with no subscription channels was also disappointing. Overall, if you want no frills with great views and a position close to Surfers Paradise then it will suit but i recommend going in the cooler months due to the lack of effective A/C.

Fantastic place to stay. We enjoyed it even more than the last time we were here. Receptionist was so nice and friendly, apartment was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. The views were incredible

Overall happy with the place, good size bathroom and kitchen. Tv room was bright even with the light curtains closed, i would put better ones in to block light out. Would stay again.

Family holiday

What a great location. We actually saw whales and dolphins from our balcony. The down side was the lift problems. The lift actually opened on a wrong level one day and our kids got out accidentally and we lost them for a while. As there was only one that worked most of the time we were there, wait times were terrible. It was also disappointing to hear of renovations taking place only a couple of days before arrival and it made it impossible for us to change to another Property due to cost at that time! This could have been communicated earlier but obviously that was the plan. The last we encountered most of the time at the front desk was really friendly and helpful! Sorry didn’t catch her name. Overall we had a great stay but these few issues mentioned above were not great at all!

Property was under construction. Tennis court was not usable. A fire drill without warning. We got locked in the stair way, walked down 19 flights of stairs to get out. The property was dirty & old. The photos online do not show the real state of this room. Enough is enough with false advertising. I saved a year for this short stay & it was dreadful.

Showed different pictures and when arrived it was a filthy apartment with small roaches. Poor kitchen condition, showed new kitchen pictures but very old. Dinings chairs was ripped and very uncomfortable not as shown inthe pictures. Bright sunlight will come to your rooms, no proper blinds or curtains to cover it. It was a restless stay. The only good things is view and near to the surfers

Location is great and we booked an ocean view which was gorgeous! The pool and sauna are not big but does the job. Be careful with the small step before going to the kitchen and bathroom. You do have to step up to avoid stumping your toes.
