Had a great time. The steam rooms & saunas were fantastic. Loved the hot/cold walk through. Enjoyed the hot tub & the pools. The food was amazing. Everything about our stay was great. We’ll be back.

Enjoyed our stay here! It was super relaxing. The only thing though was we found a mouse in our room the last day and maybe because we had take out in our room. This was bothersome but thankfully on our way to checking out. The complimentary breakfast was so good! Some of the staff were not friendly and seemed rushed with poor customer service skills but that’s more of a comfort thing for us. The beds were really uncomfortable and beautiful views from our room! We loved the tub near the window — it was so relaxing. They also provided us with complimentary bath salt which was a nice surprise. The amenities were great! The spa areas were so good — best spa I have been to. Not a lot of restaurants nearby so the food in the restaurant in the building was expensive and one down the hill from us at the other hotel. Only two walkable restaurants — otherwise have to drive into town (more of a preference thing). Lovely walk around with nice views and nature. Would recommend staying here!

Loved our stay. But observed that some of the loungers could do with a clean noticed a few stains on them. Also chair and carpet in room looked worn. Overall loved the stay. The staff were absolutely amazing. I did leave an important medical device there and am still waiting for lost and find to contact me

Beautiful facilities. Food overpriced, not many options. No staff/attendant/host where spa facilities are. This means no one enforces the rules. Loud talking, laughing, etc. in quiet areas by guests who don’t respect the rules. Lots of abandoned cups and water bottles everywhere in the spa.

We were their before Covid and we went after and the amount of negative changes is horrible. They don’t have enough staff, the water and coffee is never refilled the breakfast takes an hour to eat and it’s no longer buffet style. Honestly much different experience and I wish they went back to the old ways.

Canada’s Most Overrated, Understaffed Hotel

Never again. So understaffed its ridiculous. Literally non-existent service at times. Yes, the views are stunning. Beyond that, as forgettable an experience as I’ve had. To mgmt: if you care about the long-term health of your resort, shut it down until you can hire a ton more people and deliver proper service. You’re much better to do that than to open the doors and drop the ball on almost everything. Newsflash “we blame Covid” is NOT an excuse any more.

One elevator was not working. In spa room (red light inside) one of shower valve was not working. From outdoor pool hard to see anything, because of the glass covered with ice. Towels supply was short. Door from inside hot tub to outdoor pool was not closing completely, so cold air was interrupting. It’s just little things that could be fixed easily.

Lovely stay, a nice place to relax and unwind. The restaurant is way, way too expensive for the quality of food but the service was excellent. The real criticism is the spa services, try to book services is next to impossible. If you try to book in advance nobody will answer your inquiries. In person it’s awkward and hard to book the services you want. I manage a small spa and all it would take was a better booking system that clients can access online. It’s silly it’s so antiquated and not great for the the staff who have to deal with it. I also paid $30 for late checkout and got a call at 10:15 asking if I was leaving as well as a knock at the door at 11. Not relaxing.
