Exceptional Guest House

The Wetlands Guest House is superb from on arrival to departure Colin & Natalie are exceptional host’s providing the ultimate hospitality there is nothing they will not do for you, their breakfast is beyond excellent. The property is beautifully kept the gardens are a feast for the eyes it’s just amazing we’d recommend everyone visiting St Lucia Wetlands to stay there will be nowhere better than this.

Ein toller Aufenthalt

Ein schönes Guesthouse mit tollem Service. der Strand ist nicht sehr weit weg, auch das ortszentrum ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Achtung: abends kommen Nilpferde in den Ort. Diese sind sehr gefährlich. Daher sollte man Anbruch der Dunkelheit mit dem Auto unterwegs sein.

The property was a real show stopper. The property was splendid in every way. I could not have chosen a more perfect spot to spend 4 days. The owners and staff were very kind and socialable from the moment of arrival. The breakfast included was absolutely great. Thank you Derrick and family. 6 stars.

This property has a beautiful guest house with large rooms, a stunning living area with a big fireplace and a nice pool. The owners are really welcoming and service minded. They were especially good at giving us some quick travel advice over a welcome drink when we arrived late in the afternoon, and we also really appreciated they supplied coolers, blankets, snorkeling masks etc for a beach picnic the following day.

This cozy little guest house was so inviting that I decided to stay an additional night. My room had both a bath tub and a shower. Additionally the guest house makes snorkeling gear and coolers available (gratis) for their guests. The customer service is exemplary. They offer you a complimentary drink from the bar upon arrival. Colin (especially) is an exceptional host. They make you feel not just like customers, but also like you are new friends that they are so truly glad to have with them. Tremendous value for the money. Staying here has been my best accommodations experience in the last two weeks in South Africa, and for the money, would come out on top in any of the 40 countries I have visited. You wake up each morning to discover that your car has been washed! The facilities are wonderful, and the breakfast good. Most impressive to me is the staff, Derrick was welcoming for my late check in. Colin was exceptional in giving generously of his time answering my questions about South Africa. This is a real gem!

A perfect stay

A perfect stay. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and stylish. The guest house is charming with a lovely lounge to relax in and a nice pool to swim in after a hot day exploring. Breakfast was great, lots of variety and delicious huge portions. Colin and his staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable. 10/10 - we can’t wait to go back.
