Room was clean bed was ok but very very firm so hard for us to sleep hot tub looked as though there was bird poop in it so didn’t use other than that it was nice quiet and we enjoyed our weekend away

What an absolutely adorable cabin! Perfectly tucked away next to a little creek, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. It is a little more rustic, but it was absolutely charming. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus!

Don’t know how it is consider “romantic” cabin. When all the cabins are in top of each other sitting in the deck you can hear other cabins conversation, other cabins dogs barking all night long. Nothing romantic about the cabin just because it had a heart shaped tub in it.

The hot tub seemed to be leaking or draining everytime the jets were running I’m not sure if this is normal just wanted to bring it to your attention it was raining so nobody wanted to come up the mountain can’t say I blame them lol but otherwise the cabin was beautiful

It was a quiet peaceful location away from town. It was a 15 minute drive to town not walkable like the site suggested. Lack of internet was inconvenient. Our AT&T cell service was spotty. It does have a jacuzzi tub and an outdoor hot tub that were nice.

Cabin was beautiful and the spot was perfect especially since it had snow, there were no long high up driveway to try to challenge. There is no signal and the cabin had no instructions for the wifi information, it took us a long while to find it and figure it out. The hot tub was turned off when we arrived and wasn’t sure how to properly set it or wasn’t sure if it was broken, we didn’t reach out due to only staying for a night due to passing through. Other than that the beds were nice and we enjoyed ourselves!

Our stay at the cabin in the woods was absolutely wonderful! The peaceful surroundings, beautiful scenery, and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. We loved waking up to nature, enjoying the quiet, and relaxing by the fire. It was clean, comfortable, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to return again!

Secluded and Comfy

The cabin was secluded, the hot tub was amazing, and the view was incredible. The only caution I would give is the driveway up to the cabins is a little rough. I felt more comfortable using the 4WD function on my vehicle to make it up the hill. But I assure you, the cabin was well worth it.

Disappointed

Hot tub was not cleaned prior to our stay. Kitchen appliances were dated and outside of refrigerator was filthy. Beds were very uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed the stay here! Will plan another trip with them & I would only say the parking for this cabin wasn't good but loved staying here. The other cabins had great parking this cabin we had to park in the roadway.

Power outages, dogs barking, poor customer service

Had to wait for the door code with no internet service , moved our things in, very clean and cute, but power went out. Tried getting help from customer service, their solution was to charge us for two nights anyway and offered a b&b at our cost!!! No refund no comparable accommodations offered. A b&b with 7 other families during covid-19..no thank you.. Hot tub was great and everything worked nicely inside. Thank goodness the power eventually came back on and we stayed. Very bad ruts up to the cabins and the huge pitbull barking just down the hill all day and through the night was quite a damper on an intended quiet relaxing two days.

A relaxing get a way

The Rustic cabin was situated literally in the middle of the woods. Very quiet and peaceful location. The cabin was a bit small with only one bathroom. Very cozy with the fireplace and heart shape tub in the middle of the living room which was very romantic. An additional hot tub outside. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay at the Mayapple! Yes, the driveway was a little rutted but definitely passable. Also, no cell or internet at the cabin (which was fine with us as it was not advertised or expected) but if you need to stay plugged in, you may need to drive a few miles for a signal. Also, if you have mobility issues or trouble getting in and out of a tub, this may be a problem. There is a handle to help stepping into hot tub but it's a big step and an elderly person or someone with walking difficulty would find it a challenge. But, overall very clean and nice. Very comfy king bed, great shower, no issues at all. Slept wonderfully and highly enjoyed our stay. Only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge but it was very private and secluded. We could see the other cabins but that was about it. Definitely recommend!
