Alpine motel looks a little run down from the out side. But inside the room was modern, very well thought of, and has a nice washroom modern flooring and fittings with a separate shower cubicle. The small kitchen was very useful too for fixing our meals. The motel has a very interesting and entertaining playground for the kids alongside 2 trampoline. Beds are comfortable too. Derek and Crystal are lovely hosts and responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

The interior of the room looks old and dated. The plus points are the renovated toilet and room size. Room is big and spacious. We were there on Thursday. A busy and crowded town. Lots of cars and people.

Short walk to town centre. Toilet was newly renovated, nice touch. TV was huge with sky channels. Owners were friendly and helpful- recommended local places for us to explore. Lovely views from the windows. Only downside is that the stove and some furnitures are quite worn though still in working condition. That said, would stay here if we were to return.

A great affordable and pleasant stay for all!

The lady staff who we met during or stay is amazing. It is unfortunate that I did not get her name BUT what she did leaves an impression to us! She left a towel on our car windscreen over the night ensuring that there is no frosting on it the next day. We are not aware of this but she did this on her own initiative. This is what we call great service! Thank you so much for this kind initiative.

We left our electric plug converter from the NZ cockeyed electrodes to the straight American electrical input along with our phone charger. We were already almost 200 km away but would be returning to Wanacka on our way elsewhere. These were promptly handed to us when we arrived back. We appreciated their efforts to notify us of our not taking these when we originally departed early.
