Great family friendly hotel

We have 2 adults and 2 kids. The room has 3 twin beds upstairs and 1 big sofa beds downstairs. A small kitchen with everything. The room seems recently renovated. Everything brand new and clean. Convenient location, 5 mins walking to the Metro line 7 and a supermarket, also only $20 uber to Orly airport. Quiet neighborhood. Much better experience compared to similar priced hotel in US cities.

Awful!

Awful in every aspect! The room had broken AC units couldnt sleep or stay in the room cause of the heat and it had a clogged bath tub that flooded, it was also in a scary neighborhood.. I would never go back or recommend!

Terrible!!

Not a good neigborhood. Everything closes around this area early. I wanted water everythinting was closed and the apartment said no water. I asked for towels no towels. The room was filthy and the window would not close. Leak in the bathroom that would flow to the bottom floor. NO WIFI like they advertised! Extremely bad experience overall. Let me also mention that the Hotel Front Desk person was also very rude.

Wasn't all that

It was okay-ish. Wifi was decent. No elevator for 1st & 2nd floor .. a lot of steps. Hard to carry the luggage up and down. Not suitable for elder people or people with kids. Stairs are narrow. Train station is a few blocks away and the area was type sketchy to me. It was quiet but something about it felt weird. Didn't like that they had separate beds. Hello some people are married and would like to sleep together lol. On the bright side there is a parking lot but idk if you had to pay extra for that.

Nice and secure location closed to metro

We are family of three stayed for 3 weeks in this hotel appartment . Overall, we are very pleased with this place: good location access to metro ( very important in Paris), bakery, supermarket and very safe place (gate closed at night using code to enter). We would highly recommend this hotel appartment.

Good enough for family

We came as a family of 5 adults and had duplex apartment. Our flight arrived late at night and they were very accommodating to let us in. When we apo end the door of the apparment, it smelled as a cigarette smoke, but over all looked little out dated,but nice enough. Beds were very comfortabLe, bathroom was clean with many towels. Over all we were very happy with t location- 5"minutes walking to subway, pastry shop and market. WifI was for free,we just had to ask for user name and password.After a future refurbishment, the hotel would be perfect for family to visit Paris.

The location was conveniently located near the Leo Lagrange metro stop in Villejuif. This is the only good thing to say about the place. The only other thing I will say is BEWARE of random intrusions while you are out seeing the sights.

Good option for a large group in Paris

We chose this hotel because of the space in each room. That was about the only thing these rooms had. The Wi-Fi went out after the first day and didn't come back on the next three days, the neighborhood is dreary (not even close to picturesque Paris), the shower head was broken and sprayed the entire bathroom when turned on, the beds were rock solid and all twin size (bring your own pillow), and the restaurant pictured on Expedia doesn't exist. The positives are this hotel is a five minute walk to the metro, the balcony was a peaceful retreat, the neighborhood is quiet, and the staff (though not fluent in English) were helpful.

Just okay

This is our second time staying at La Ferme Des Barmonts, and we liked it less this time. It is nice that it has separate bedrooms from the living space, and the kitchenette is helpful for a young family, but the space seemed... sticky. The floors, the banister, the dishes - they all felt like they needed a good scrub. The bedspreads on all the beds had many stains on them. There was no air conditioning, which was okay our first time staying there (in May), but not okay in August. The shower couldn't be turned on very hard or the shower head would fly backwards and spray all over the wall. There is no elevator, so that is not great for a family with three small children and lots of luggage. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but only if you book it the night before - something we didn't know till the morning, when we were hoping for breakfast. The staff seemed pleasant enough and agreed to give us a late check-out (noon instead of 11 am) and also booked a taxi for us to pick us up at noon, but then they called our room at 11 am, telling us that our taxi was waiting. This was probably a language misunderstanding, but I repeated the request twice (for both the late check-out and the taxi), and the manager repeated it back to me, so it was frustrating to have them call our room an hour before we had agreed upon. We travel to Paris every few months, so I wish that this hotel was a little nicer, but after this experience, I think we'll try somewhere else next time.

Quick overnight

We only had a very quick overnight in Paris before flying out early the next morning. This hotel worked out great for our family of five (three little ones). We especially appreciated having two bedrooms plus the living area, and the kitchenette made a quick dinner prep easy before tucking the kids in. We didn't get to explore the neighborhood, but we anticipate staying at this hotel again another time when we're in Paris.

We were traveling with kids and were given an apartment room on a second floor with scary/hazardous stairs [i guess if u are from there u used to]. the apt was not that clean, dusty. We were a group of 8 [5 adults and 3 kids] and instead of booking two rooms, we could have just be accommodated all in one -but that was not clear on the page, so my suggestion is that if u travel with a big group, u call the hotel directly too and check that with them. It was not that easy to cancel on the spot, the receptionist made it like a favor, but we still had to pay one night and we could stay all together in one apt [we booked two apt originally] I had to do laundry and asked about it. in the morning, i was told i could do it anytime - then when i went in the late afternoon, i was told no laundry at that time. I had to insist and let the receptionist know i was leaving the day after, and he let me do it. Internet was supposed to be available, but never worked.

Hotel is good for the price. Close to stores and the metro. The only issue I had was the front desk gentleman was not friendly and made me feel like I was more of a bother than a guest. But overall I would recommend this hotel. It was roomy.

Economical studio in Paris

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The hotel is really a combination of studios and apartments in a very quiet neighborhood 2 metro stops outside the city limit (the peripherique road). We were just 3 minutes from the Leo Lagrange metro stop on line 7 and had a bakery, pizza place, gyros café, and supermarket within 200 yards. The hotel was secure with a locked from gate and 24-hour desk attendant so we felt very safe. We had all the necessary kitchen supplies and the refrigerator allowed us to eat in the room and skip the 8 Euro per person breakfast. Every room had a small but covered picnic table outside, and the kitchen table was good for 4 people. Beds were firm and comfortable, but a "double" room was two twins that we had to push together, a common experience in Europe. Bathroom had a big tub, good water pressure, and a hair dryer, but no electrical outlets at all, so curling hair was in the bedroom area that had a mirror. We did not get room service which did not really bother us; we did not ask about it. We had free internet with reasonable speed, and they called a taxi for us when we left. First metro in the morning is at 0530, so it would be at least 0700 before reaching Charles de Gaulle airport. The taxi was 35 minutes and 80 Euros.
