Review on Tukad Villa

I was impressed by the friendliness and prompt service of staffs at The Tukad Villa. Villa is impressive with a big size of pool for family. B’fast was very delicious. The hotel staffs always changed a new set of towels everyday, morning and evening and turndown service was done without being prompt. Excellent customer service. However, at night during rainy season, insects and beetles will come at the toilet and bathtub areas. And the whole bathroom areas will be soaking wet when it rains. But this matter will be quickly cleaned up by the hotel staffs.

Nice Villa

Villa was abit far from town, however the pros is that villa provides free shuttle service to town areas. Wifi was very stable. You could close off the living area to enjoy aircon or if you are worried about mosquitoes. So far, during our stay, there wasn't any mosquito problem which i was worried of. villa also provided insect repellent cream for guest... Villa provides in house massage if you need one.

Unpleasant experience.

Overall experience was poor. I still remembered it was Villa D. We were pretty stoked when we arrived as the villa looked awesome on the exterior. But there were many things that left a bad impression during our stay there. We booked a 2 bedroom for a 5 days 4 nights stay. When we arrived there was no hot water Nor water access to the bathrooms for both bedrooms. We had to call the concierge to tell them to turn them on. After turning them on, the water pressure that was coming out of the shower pipes were pathetic. We called the staffs to fixed the water issue everyday but to no avail. In the end we were stucked with having to call them to turn on the water supply everytime we are back at the villa and had to Endure 5 days of bathing in cold water. The place is very secluded so it might not be pretty accessible. The Swimming pool had a green Colour feel as there were moss on the sides. There were insects and fallen leaves inside Everyday too. In the end we did not even use the pool. Breakfast's order were wrong for the first 2 days. Overall it was an unpleasant experience staying in this villa.

Pleasant stay !!

Wi-fi was down during the 2 nights stay. Stay here if you not plan to go out to town area. Only one way drop off shuttle provided. However, they have a very complete kichenette and water dispenser! Enjoyed whole day of private moment in the villa with a clean private pool. Awesome!

A Villa stay away from the Hustle and Bustle city

The Tukad Villa offered us lots of privacy and we would recommend for couples who are looking to just laze in the villa for the stay in Seminyak. Staff are very friendly and service was good, especially impressed by staff taking initiative to check the taxis seats for loose items at night after we alighted. Room is clean, showering facilities and pool are great! Location was the only con, as it was a little far off from city centre/beaches. Surroundings was a little run down due to development still ongoing.

Beautiful, newly set-up villa with private pool

The main reason we chose the Tukad Villa was to enjoy our own private pool which we very much did. The filtration system was good and so was the lighting in the pool. The added feature of a mini 'waterfall' from the dining table was innovative and added charm to the whole private swim experience. The bathroom was an almost totally open concept which we did not expect (but interesting with a beautiful tub) although non-couples may not feel very comfortable with the layout. We had an issue trying to use the toilet while waiting for the staff to bring us breakfast. There is not much of a reception and no restaurant and other facilities other than the in-room provisions of a mini kitchen. The room was rather warm at night and we would have preferred the airconditioning unit to be at the side rather than above and behind us when we were sleeping. Overall an enjoyable stay.

nice villa good location

The villa is located amongst other private houses/villa and away from the main Sunset road so you can enjoy the peacefulness. That being said, it is about 3 minutes motorbike ride away from places like Made's Warung. The hotel staff were really helpful when we had some problems and gave us all the advice we needed. Whatever you need be it getting a taxi or renting a motorbike, you can ask for their help. The room we stayed in was a 1 bedroom villa with an outdoor pool. The bathroom is not enclosed therefore expect to live amongst spiders, ants, tiny frogs and other insects. This didn't bother us much as they were harmless & weren't too large. After all, we had to expect these things since we chose to stay in a villa.

Had an amazing stay at the Tukad Villa! The staff there are unreal and don’t hesitate to help you with anything. As it is a bit of a way out from Seminyak square and the beach, they have a free shuttle to anywhere in Seminyak and Legian! Can’t fault!

La villa est fantastique ! La piscine, la salle de bain en extérieur et la chambre sont magnifiques ! La table extérieur qui fait également office de fontaine qui coule dans la piscine. Si je reviens à Bali, je reprendrai quelques nuits ici !

Really enjoyed our stay at the Tukad villas. Great private pool with no one overlooking it, amazing people and service. A bit out of the way, which we liked as really quiet and we just used the shuttle to go in to Seminyak, with a taxi home.

La villa que nous avons loué était exactement comme sur la description ( voir même mieux ). Ce n’est pas un hôtel classique, il y une petite réception et le reste se passe dans votre villa. Nous avions le petit déjeuner servi dans notre villa tous les matins. Et le room service efficace aussi. Si nous voulions aller en ville, vous pouvez demander un taxi à la réception ou alors ils vous proposent un shuttle gratuit. Le personnel est très sympa. Nous avons adoré notre séjour .

Sehr ansprechende Unterkunft, viel Platz, großer Pool- alles wie auf den Fotos. Bett sehr bequem. Wenn man genau schaut sieht man allerdings einige kleine Mängel, Anlage ist nicht mehr ganz neu und an manchen Ecken könnte etwas Farbe helfen. In den Aussenbereichen muss man mit kleinen Tierchen rechnen, kleine Eidechsen kamen jeden Tag, aber sowas ist für Bali normal....... Das Personal ist äußerst nett und sehr unkompliziert, auch die Lage fanden wir im Zusammenhang mit einem RentalBike als Top - man liegt schön mittig und ist mit dem Scooter schnell überall. Das inkludierte Frühstück wurde immer pünktlich geliefert und wir fanden es völlig ausreichend. Für Bali eine durchaus wieder zu wählende Unterkunft, kleine Abstriche dafür aber toller Preis.

The photos of the property must have been the originals as the place looked nothing like pictures. It had a huge mould spot over the bed, the paint is peeling off the walls and the vanity was so dirty I didn't want to brush my teeth in it. I do feel it should always be mentioned or at least shown when your bathroom is totally outdoors because we would not have gone there in the first place.

beautiful villa, friendly staff, although it's not close to main tourist attractions but have a free hotel shuttle bus that takes you to semiyak and kuta area which is even better.
