Hôtel was clean and room was decent. But barely a step up from a hostel. Not many food options nearby, no grocery stores or convenience stores. The train is easy to get to but it’s at least 20 minutes from anything worth seeing or doing. Great option if your budget is small and you don’t mind being out of the excitement of Paris. But if you’re looking for that ideal Paris hotel and experience this is not that.

Dirty cooktop Shower seriously overflowed onto bathroom floor No mattress protector - stains visible through sheet Ineffective air conditioning Don’t forget your ID if you want a hair dryer Much better options for staying nearby at a similar price.

I used my room as a small apartment and had breakfast and a few dinners there. Kitchen was well equipped, except: only one fork, no tea towel to dry dishes, no sink plug. Otherwise, all I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Aircon was quiet and worked perfectly. Shower was very good. Two desks, lots of space. I was able to do a clothes wash in a utility room on the main floor. There was a boulangerie across the street, and a convenience store next door. Staff was always there to help. I couldn’t have asked for more. The only strike against it: location. 10 minute walk from nearest metro station, port de Choisy, and 30-35 minutes to key areas in city centre. Yes, it’s very good value. But a trade-off , in travel time, for doing tourist stuff. I should point out that the T3a tram can bring you to some shopping mall areas.

Overall not very satisfied, the room didn’t really look like it did in the photos and I have a few complaints. The shower in the room looked like it was a second thought, it is a very small shower with no proper shower head and 2 curtains and then shower is just the bathroom floor(photos included). The laundry machine turned all our clothes purple and we were told by reception it was our fault for turning the water too high, the washer looks like it was from 1945 and it is very unclear and also in French so yes we may have turned the water too hot but we didn’t really know what we were doing, when I complained and suggested they add a note on the washer they were rude and dismissive. They advertise air conditioning and yes technically there was but it was nothing more then someone blowing through a vent, our room got pretty warm and when you’re in Paris during a heat wave air conditioning is a must. The area is ok and overall it was fine but I do feel it was a tad expensive for what we got.

If you like to have swamp ass throughout the whole night, this is the place for you. The rooms are kept at a cool comfortable 76 degrees. No matter what you do the thermostat doesn’t move. Thankfully, the earth is cooling at the expense of the accumulation of everyone that stays here losing 4 years of life.

The room needed a thorough clean!

My main problem was the cleanliness. The room was a little grubby. The shower curtain was dirty at the bottom. There was dirt on the skirting board, and the floor was dirty near under the fridge and cooker - basically the room needed a deep clean. Another problem was no mattress or pillow covers . Yuk!

The worst stay experience

I stayed for two nights. On the first day, I was exhausted upon arrival and went to bed early. The next morning, I discovered that the back of the pillowcase was moldy! I asked the housekeeping staff if it could be replaced, but he said he had no authority to make that decision and that I needed to speak directly with the front desk. I went to the front desk with the pillowcase and explained the situation. The lady at the counter responded with a dismissive attitude, refused to replace it, and even implied that it was my fault since I had already spent a night there. I can’t imagine my face being in contact with something moldy for an entire night. This isn’t my first time staying here, but it has been the worst experience I’ve had at any hotel! Please inspect your pillowcase carefully when checking in, or the front desk might suggest that you caused the issue! J’ai séjourné deux nuits. Le premier jour, j’étais très fatigué à mon arrivée et je me suis couché tôt. Le lendemain matin, j’ai découvert que l’arrière de la taie d’oreiller était moisi ! J’ai demandé au personnel d’entretien s’il pouvait la remplacer, mais il m’a dit qu’il n’en avait pas le droit et que je devais m’adresser directement à la réception. Je suis allé à la réception avec la taie d’oreiller pour expliquer la situation. La dame au comptoir m’a répondu avec un air de mépris, a refusé de la remplacer, et a même insinué que c’était de ma faute puisque j’avais déjà passé une nuit là. Je n’ose imaginer
