Fantastic location - that’s why we return! Can be a little bit loud on weekend evenings due to proximity to drinking/dining options. Spacious apartments, not too fancy but perfect for weekend explorers!

Idea for Longer Stays

I stayed here in a one bedroom apartment for a week. It has an idea location within easy walking distance to shopping areas, historica arcades, Federation Square, the NGV Interntional and Southbank. My apartment was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equiped and included a Nespresso machine and dishwasher. A comfortable bed and useful ironing board and iron made sense for a longer stay. WiFi was good and also the heating/cooling. I would recommend a traveller brings easplugs in case there is noise from the lively street. This was mostly on the weekend and did not last too late.

The location was perfect for our needs. The staff were caring supportive and helpful. However it must be said that the property was tired and in need of a refit. Noise related to plumbing was intrusive.

The lobby is a nice well renovated area. The rooms not so much, the price we paid was good for the family room but the beds were super old/uncomfortable and the floor was super creaky around the apartment. Overall it was convenient for the price.

Good, but not great

The location was fantastic but very difficult to find the attached parking. Everything was clean but the beds were not very comfortable and it was easy to hear noises from the other rooms and guests. Also, when we were leaving in the morning the bin man had put all the big bins down the lane way where the parking was so we had to move them to allow us to exit.

I would have given this 5 stars for everything except for the following. The kitchen cupboards and microwave are ridiculously high. I had to ask a staff member to get down the kitchen crockery for me to use. Apart from that it was a really spacious apartment with a comfortable bed. Convenient location for restaurants and supermarkets and tram stop. Helpful staff.

Bathroom shower door broken and mould in grout. Holes in carpet. Many stains on sofa would not sit on it. Room looks completely different on website.

The staff were excellent. The property is in a fantastic location. The room itself was a bit tired with carpet worn and old TV's and couch. You could hear the people upstairs every move ( not great hearing a microwave going at 1am and hearing people walking around).

Family getaway

Location excellent, very quite and super comfy bed. We have stayed here before and definitely will stay again. I will say that the carpets were tired, and the bathroom was very small with limited bench space but a comfy bed outways those things for me

The location on flinders lane was excellent, near many ethnic restaurants and degraves st outdoor dining. Flinders train station is very close. The room needs a refresh but is fine. FYI the two bedroom has two beds open to the living space and 1.5 baths.

Great value for money. So good to have a small kitchen, dining and lounge area - makes for a relaxed stay. As soon as the front doors close it is quiet, safe and relaxed. Also good to have washing facilities on each floor. A great base in a central location.
