Away from the hustle and bustle

The hotel is located about 5-7 minutes' drive from Jalan Raya Ubud, which is where all the action is. If you walk to the hotel from Jalan Raya Ubud, it'll take about 20-25 minutes as it's a winding road that doesn't always have a pavement and has some blind turns which can be a little dangerous. In the end, we used the hotel shuttle for our trips into central Ubud, which were convenient and dependable. It ran every 2 hours and made 2 stops, one at the famous Monkey Forest sanctuary, and another near the Ubud Palace. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa. The villa is showing signs of wear - it is a 5-year old hotel - but the staff do their best to keep it clean and fresh every day. In line with the their eco-friendly approach, the roofs of the villas are covered with plants, which does mean that you may encounter tiny bugs and worms in the open-air sections of the villa. We had 2 adorable resident frogs in the garden and geckos on the wall, but they basically stayed out of our way. Having stayed at 5-star resorts in Ubud, I must say that Ubud Green does have its own charm. It has everything that we wanted (the extensive TV movie channels were great for staying in when the tropical thunderstorms happen) and the hotel's Firefly restaurant served excellent food that kept us coming back day after day. The staff really make the place shine, as they are attentive and try their best to make it a pleasant stay for you. It's a gem of a place.

Perfect nice location

Nice hotel, very close to Ubud but in a very quiet area. Very convenient to visit many places. Nice view from our villa. You can rent a car with a driver at the hotel. The hotel will advise you some tours.

Friendly and helpful staff, sweet surprise!

Cosy room with eco-friendly tech, peaceful location not far away from the attractions, free shutter service, nice breakfast course. Like to highlight that the staff is friendly and helpful attending to our questions and requests. It is also very sweet and thoughtful of them to give a birthday surprise to my friend with a personalised birthday cake delivered to our room. Nice memory and stay at Ubud Green. :)

Nice villas right next to padi fields

Lovely villas, very friendly staff. Would recommend if it's a shorter walk to town area, but the hotel does provide two-hourly shuttles down to town area and back.

Good hotel and spa

I had a good stay in Ubud green. The conditions of the hotel is excellent, with big room. The breakfast is a la carte, with a very good food quality but the quantities are not huge. The view over the rice fields is amazingly relaxing from the roof top restaurant. The Spa provide excellent services, but it's pretty expensive so do no hesitate to negotiate. The location is a bit far from ubud city center, about 20 minutes by walking. The free shuttle is convenient but the frequency could be improved, it's only every two hours so far... A good hotel to stay in charming ubud anyway...

Overall this resort was alright but I just don't understand the stench of sewage and how careless the housekeeping read. There was dusty spots here and there which is really not acceptable and don't even get me started on the pillows. We had to ask for a change and even after that the sweaty odour was still there. The overall feel of our villa was ok. We liked the breeze and nice location on the Hill top

The place to stay in Ubud

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were always do friendly and accommodating. It was nice to be a little outside the hustle and bustle of central Ubud and the regular shuttle made getting in and out from town convenient. There were environmental designs that saved energy which we really appreciated. The pool and spa bath provided welcome relief and refresh after exploring. Our only criticism would be that a dinner set and extra towels would have been helpful.

写真のとおりですが、経年劣化はあると思ってください。バスルームに小さな虫の侵入はあります。シャワーで流してしまえば問題なく使えます。ジャグジーは使えません。リビング、寝室、プールは快適です。トイレ…大きなものが流れませんでした。まぁ、写真は豪華に写っていますが金額相応と思えばいいのでは？　スタッフはとても親切、素晴らしいです。

Over all my experience and the property was great! It was more than I could ask for. From the unique room entries to the outdoor walkway from the bedroom to the living room and outdoor pool. It was amazing! The ONLY thing i say they need to work on is CLEAN THE TOILET/TOILET SEAT!!! It looks and smells like they haven’t cleaned it in months. I took a wipe to see if it was just looks or actual uncleaned and it was definitely in cleaned!!! The cleaners just put the cover down and ignore it. At this point either replace the seat altogether or do a super deep clean. The seat should be spotless white and nothing else. It was disgusting and I hated when I had to use the bathroom. Also they have toilet deodorants please use it AFTER you deep clean the toilets. It should smell fresh after each guest.

We recently stayed at Ubud Green and had a generally mediocre experience. The location is great, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and kind. They offer a shuttle every two hours to and from Ubud Palace, which we found very convenient. We booked the private pool premiere rice fields view villa. However, there were a few things that could be improved. Upon entering our room, we noticed about 8 mosquitoes inside. While we understand that mosquitoes are common in Bali, having so many in the room was a bit surprising. We contacted the staff, and they promptly gave us a spray, which helped, but my wife still had trouble sleeping due to concerns about mosquito bites. The most disappointing part was the condition of the sheets, towels and bathtub, which was clearly not clean. This really detracted from the overall experience. There was stains on the bed sheets and towels. The whole experience made the stay feel far from the 5-star experience the hotel claims to offer. Overall, it’s a nice place if you’re just looking for a place to rest at night, but don’t expect a luxury resort experience.

This was our first time to Bali and our first stop on our honeymoon. We were greated by the friendly team and even surprised by the rose petals spelling out happy honeymoon on our bed. Food was awesome and service was great! Drinks were very affordable and the happy hour specials were tasty! Can't wait to visit again!
