Very terrible hotel .. entering room no heater working … they have to fix my heater and gave additional room heater … later no hot water from shower … ..all this happening on night when nyc has coldest nights … they charge extremely high for late checkout .. they charged amenities fees but no basic amenities .. they don’t even keep coffee and they charge $25 … this hotel should be band from booking … worst night of my stay at this hotel …
This are basic needs why they should charged for &25 for this

Stylish hotel, nice for shorter stay

Stayed here for one night due to a flight cancellation. The hotel was undergoing renovations so there were parts inside taped off. The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was unique and stylish. The air conditioner worked GREAT and was a blessing on a hot, humid day. The bed/pillows/duvet were soft and comfortable. The shower was really nice and the bathroom and room were spotless. The room itself was big and had a large desk area along the window, which I loved. I was on the 2nd floor and could hear the street noise but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Wi-fi was free and kind of slow. Only complaint was no coffee machine in room, no amenities (water, coffee, etc) in lobby. Also, the hotel told me the airport shuttle could not be booked when I called at almost midnight, so I was forced to take a cab. I found out later if I did it myself I could have gotten one and saved $20. A cab from LGA to this hotel cost $40. The shared shuttle that the hotel booked for me to go back to the airport the next day cost $22. They required $10 (cash) up front, and told me the remainder would be paid to the driver when I board, and that I could use a credit card. Of course when I got on the shuttle, the driver said he would have to manually call the dispatcher to take my card, which was a huge hassle -- apparently the hotel should have told me I needed cash for the whole thing. All in all, good hotel in decent location, would recommend -- especially after the renovations!
