It wasn’t bad, but my expectations where higher. They pretend to be a luxury boutique hotel, but that is only a super thin layer. The room was spacious, but there wasn’t even a proper window. There were two small windows, but with the type of glass, you couldn’t look outside. And if you could, you looked at a walk that was only a meter away…. After 5pm, the hotel is closed (this was on a Saturday) and you need to get in through a side entrance. Breakfast was so sad. A lump of dry bread in a paper bag. No breakfast would have been a better experience. The walls are all cardboard, which means you hear everything. Especially when people were walking on the floor above us. Shower was in the bath tub. Not what you would expect from a luxury boutique hotel. Location is good, so is the quality of the bed.

Lovely hotel for a short break in Mudgee

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Perry hotel in a clean comfy tastefully decorated room. Nice touch was some complimentary snacks and items for breakfast. It’s close to all the restaurants and shops in Mudgee

We stayed at this hotel a few months ago and circumstances brought us back. It’s a delightful place - good communication, quality in all areas and so wonderfully made ‘grand’ again. And, the pub across the road is such good value too - a real country feel. We will be back at some stage to enjoy another stay
