Really friendly little hotel, under new ownership so lots of improvements and decorating going on (April 25) so older reviews might not be representative. Would definitely stay again
Lovely room with sea view, good breakfast, everyone friendly, easy access to beach, town all amenities.

Excellent location, fantastic value for money - £50 a night with full cooked breakfast, fruit and muesli included; no way would you get this in London!!!
Friendly staff who were very accommodating.
A delightfully traditional guest house that provides incredible value for money and a real home from home vibe. I would definitely return if staying in the area again.

Very pleasant staff. Good service. Good location on sea front.
The Hotel is in a convenient location close to all amenities.
Our room was comfortable with a sea view. We were made to feel very welcome and would not hesitate to go back again.
Stayed at the lynton hotel for 2 nights with my dog and it was lovely. My room was perfect, bed was comfy and it was quiet, the English breakfast was lovely and so was Lorraine and all the staff
Stayed here for a family wedding and really glad I did, clean, comfortable, breakfast was great, fantastic position, sea view, owner and staff are lovely and really friendly. I would definitely stay there in future if I’m back in the area.
Friendly helpful staff-- Byron and Jamie even fixed the handle on my suitcase! The moon was full while I was there and I could see it and the moon track on the sea from my window. I had 5 wonderful sleeps at the Lynton, which is being refurbished by its new owners. However, be advised that there is no elevator and also the rooms facing the sea do get the morning sun--lovely in winter, but could be uncomfortably hot in summer.
We were looked after very well. Food was very good and Lorraine took the time to give information about the area taking the time to chat to us. Would be happy to stay again.
Spotlessly clean, breakfast was well cooked and very tasty. Proprietor and staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was comfortable and had a wonderful sea view. Location perfect
Nice 4 night stay. Lovely room and view! Lovely breakfast which kept me full up all day! Close to the seafront and town centre!

Hotel is a Victorian building with original features, rooms are comfortable, staff couldn't be more hospitable and welcoming, i requested a takeaway breakfast for my last morning, as i was departing early, which wasn't a problem for the hotelier Linda.
Excellent B&B. Friendly welcome. Excellent breakfast with fast friendly service. Good place to relax situated on the sea front. Good bus service and short walk to train station. Lots of good pubs near by. Happy days!
