I had a one week stay at The Rooms in May. Initially I'd booked March but due to London Heathrow closing and flight cancellation, I requested a change of date. It was a chaotic time with 150,000 flight cancellations and while Expedia were very helpful and managed to change my flight they said that wasn't possible to change dates for the accommodation so I contacted The Rooms direct. They were incredibly helpful, even though it was a last minute request, and changed the booking for me.
The apartment was smart and well equipped, with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. There's a small supermarket providing most things you'd need in the courtyard, and a corner shop opposite with some fresh fruit and veg, as well as some larger shops and market stalls 5-10 minutes walk.
Access to the sports centre is nice. The gym is excellent and pool is lovely, though a bit too busy for my liking. There are some decent coffee shops etc around the area too.
The team managing the property was incredibly helpful, professional and responsive; mostly via WhatsApp.
For me perhaps the best thing is the location, being across the road from the lake - a beautiful place to walk and watch the sunset in the evenings.
A big thumbs up for The Rooms, I'd definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.
