A cozy, private ground floor apartment, beneath, but completely separate from and sharing no entrances with the Queenslander style home above. It is a perfect couples retreat. The apartment has a kitchen/dining area, small lounge leading onto a private veranda with glorious views over the trees to the creek, ocean and hills beyond. The bedroom and bathroom are of a good size and your car can be parked under cover.
Wildlife is a feature here with Kookaburras, other birds and Kangaroos and Wallaby’s visiting most days. The apartment has received dozens of positive reviews on various platforms.

Had a very nice stay, quiet and relaxing.We were 2 adults 3 kids and it was a comfortable stay. Carl was so friendly and easy going.The unit was clean comfortable but old. Will come back again. And a great price with pet friendly and easy driving distance to beach and shops.

Peaceful & relaxing stay

While we were disappointed with the unclear description regarding the proximity of the accomodation to the beach we did really enjoy the peacefulness, wildlife surrounding the property & friendliness of the host.

I purchased a two night stay for my girlfriend and her husband. Communication was great. Unfortunately accommodation was less than impressive. Dark, stained couch, air conditioner that was older than me and loud. Outside chairs were cheap plastic Bunnings ones that had seen better days. For over 200 a night, not impressed. They left a day early. I’m thinking the reviews that were so positive were probably from friends or family members. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but from all accounts, I’d certainly never book to stay here.

If you enjoy peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Beautiful bush surrounding, kangaroos at your back step and beautiful sunsets.

Carl was very welcoming and had a lot of useful information and tips about the local towns. There was fresh fruit, fresh bread and other goods ready for us. Comfortable and quiet, easy to find, plenty of wildlife. Highly recommended!
