Outstanding location, great apartment

We were pleasantly surprised about Casa da Baixa. Our unit was roomy and the location was simply outstanding. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor and two excellent restaurants just across the street. The cathedral is just up the hill. The train station is a 17 minute walk away, while the main plaza at the harbor entrance is 5 minutes away.

Easy to get the code and enter the building and your accommodation. Accommodation was very clean and quiet. The staff were quick to respond to messages. They were understanding and responsive to let us check in early when we asked them the day of our arrival into Portugal. Great location - close walk to Praça do Comércio and many restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, ice cream.

We loved our stay at Casas da Baixa. It was very well located, very close to little stores and lots of restaurants. The Placa da Comercio was surpringly close! We will definitely be back!

This place is in a wonderful location close to lots of nice areas and shops and fantastic dining. Check in was very easy and flexible via lock box. The living space and kitchen were quite large. Minor downsides: - The responses from the property manager seem to be filtered through a chatbot or something and difficult to get specific requests answered quickly - the property is fairly sparsely furnished and decorated (fine for us as we didn't spend much time in it aside for sleeping) - the bed was not particularly comfortable.

Nice and clean apartment with great amenities.

The apartment was clean and had all the amenities and the area around the apartment had a lot of restaurants and the view from 7th floor was great. The only issue I noticed was the entrance to the apartment building wasn't very noticeable and we had to go around the block twice to figure out the entrance.

We loved our stay...

The property is well kept, and our accommodation was very convenient for a family of 4. I think the property entrance could have a clearer sign (it's a bit difficult to find the door, and we saw other families struggling). Also, be prepared to self-maintain your apartment during your stay since there is no service to clean during your stay. Location is excellent, in the center of the city, easy walking distance to all restaurants, bars, and touristic sites.
