Nice comfortable room.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were some places to eat in walking distance. The U-Baum was also in walking distance. There was a little hiccup with the checkin as I did not realize the email with the code went to my spam inbox. I found that and successfully got into the room.

Nice rooms, convinient location. There is no staff or check-in desk, you get a code by email to enter the hotel and room. No luggage room on site. The cleaning crew enters even if you put Do-not-disturb, happened 3 times during the stay.

Spacious room in one of those classic large old German apartments. Loved the room but it should have had a small fridge as it had the space. Should have also had a pedestal fan as although the weather was cool for our stay, if we arrived a week later it was forecast to be much hotter. Modern bathroom and modern light, switches and buttons to request privacy and whether you want the room cleaned. We only asked for our room to be cleaned once in the middle of our 7 day stay and they just replaced the towels and emptied the litter bin. They didn't change the bedding, clean the bathroom or top up the toilet paper, we ended up buying our own! There is no facility to store you bags after check out which is inconvenient. Loved the location and the quietness of the street at night. All in all a good stay.

This is not a proper hotel! There's no staff there. You're supposed to get a code to enter but it doesn't come in and then when you try to contact them it takes them forever to respond. You only get 15 minutes of free Wi-Fi! Ridiculous in 2024!

This was my first visit to a hotel with no reception personnel. However, the instructions were good and I was able to check in on the machine and receive a room key. I speak some German, so that helped in following the registration instructions. The only complaint is that the door was left ajar on two occasions by the cleaning staff. It required a slight slam to get it to close properly. It is very convenient to public transportation, shopping and good. There was a great breakfast spot one-half block away.

Berlin - no guarantee room ready to checkin

I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp messaging on 7th September at 12:03 to informed them that I had arrived early and whether it would be possible to check- in early, or at least store my baggage until I could check-in. I was informed that I could not check-in early, and as it is digital check-in, the hotel reception is not manned, and that there was nowhere that I could store my baggage, other than the Zoologischer Garten at the station. I was later informed by a representative from AMC Hotel that my room was the last one to be cleaned ready for my arrival, and that it would not be ready for the guaranteed check-in time of 15:00. The hotel were aware that I was very early, however they chose not to prioritise this for my arrival. And to make matters worse, my room was not made ready for me to check-in until 34 minutes beyond the guaranteed time. I find this to be wholly unacceptable and I’m extremely disappointed by the level of service that I received at the hotel. I received an email at 15:34 to inform me that my room was ready for my arrival; again this is 34 minutes later than had been guaranteed in an emailed that I received. Therefore, the hotel did not fulfil their contractual obligation to me.

Looked out of my room for 2 hours & no cleaning

Horrible experience. Best avoid this hotel. I was shut out of my room due to technical fault on my door, and due to the hotels’ unmanned reception I waited for 2 hours for someone to appear and help me access my room. Because of that I missed my friends gathering which was the main reason for me being in Berlin. The room was so tiny that you cannot store a luggage and when you think it can’t get any worse, there are many pannels with switches and they are so bright in the night (bright blue and blinking), one is even next to the bed’s head board, that I had to cover them with towels in order to sleep. It was like sleeping in a discotheque. In addition, the housekeeper came into my room twice without checking if someone is inside, she just opened the door and on one occasion I was completely naked in the room and was able to hide behind the bed sheets. I mean this is a complete invasion of my privacy. Also, they only offer cleaning service in the morning, so if you are here for a weekend and want to sleep in, your room will never be cleaned, at least mine wasn’t. If I didn't have to change room due to the door lock issue, as they had to break down the door, my room wouldn’t have been cleaned for 3 nights. I wrote an email to the management mentioning all the above and asking for compensation for my 2 hours waiting time and consequently missed lunch.Iit took them 8 days to reply with a complete unpersonalised 3 sentence email. Overall one of my worst hotel experiences.

Hallo, es gab KEINE Kontaktmöglichkeiten mit dem Hotel! Wenn ich in dem Hotel um 17.00 Uhr angekommen war, gab es KEIN Personal an der Rezeption. Habe dann die Tel.Möglichkeit genutzt, aber keine hat geantwortet. Habe dann auf eine der 5 zugeschickten E-Mails check-in gemacht. Weil ich mich ausserhalb Europa mich aufgehalten habe, könnte ich frĂŒher KEINE der vielen zugesannten Meils antworten oder einchecken. Hat nur gedreht und gedreht und nicht geöffnet, Verstehe auch nicht, warum man nicht SMS zugeschickt hat wenn man keine Antwort bekommen hat? Habe dann nach 1,5 Stunden eine Antwort auf meine zugeschickten E-Mail bekommen was der SchlĂŒsselkod war um mein Zimmer zu bekommen. Wenn ich im Zimmer drin war, war das Badezimmer ĂŒberflutet wegen KEIN Abfluss ..Habe dann Toilettenpapier genutzt um das Wasser aufzutrocknen. Ich hatte deswegen auch KEINE Möglichkeit jemand anzurufen um die MĂ€ngeln zu beseitigen und neuer Toilettenpapier zu bekommen! Schreckliche Aufenthalt und ich veranlage das Geld zurĂŒckzubekommen, weil ich nicht unter diese UmstĂ€nden schlafen könnte. Ich veranlage dass ich sofort eine Antwort hierzu bekomme. Das Personal war bis auf das mĂ€del , die am Empfang arbeitete Schrecklich.. ich bin mit KrĂŒcken da gewesen und konnte nicht laufen, als ich dort an kam , wusste ich nicht , dass man sich online einen Code holt, daraufhat mich das nette mĂ€dchen mit dem office verbunden , wo ein sehr unfreundlicher man mit mir redete und mich sogar anschrie. weil ich ihm sagte ,dass ich sehr erschöpft bin und möchte schnell aufs Zimmer , , .. irgendwie dauerte es lange und ich bekam keinen code, er ging nicht mehr ans telefon und als das mĂ€dchen Chrfin anrief( im Office ) , habe ich mitbekommen , wie sie diesem mĂ€dchen sagt ..ignoriiere ihn . und lass ihn.

Todo muy bien salvo el checkin online. La pagina desastrosa, tuve que llenar el formulario 7 veces hasta que por fin funcionó, cada vez que terminaba me regresaba al inicio. Igual la comunicación, hablaban de instrucciones por email que solo enviaron después de llamarles un par de veces. El hotel muy bien localizado y las instalaciones muy bien salvo la chapa de la puerta, para cerrar la puerta al salir del cuarto era necesario cada vez poner la clave. Me gustó, ojalå mejoren donde fallaron y regresaré seguro. Gracias
