The place is extremely quiet, spacious, clean and the staff is very friendly and proactive. It is 5 minutes from the beach on foot, and there are a couple of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores within a maximum of 15 minutes on foot. You have to rent a car or use Uber to get to more distant places since public transport is not constant.

A great place close to the beach

We loved our stay at Jeju Timber House. The owner was really nice and helpful, and our few days there felt more like visiting acquaintances than going to a hotel. The place is a short walk from the beach, as well as from convenience stores, cafés and restaurants. If you drive there, you can park right in front of the pension. Be aware that if you're more than 2 people, you might have to sleep on the floor, a pretty common occurence in Korea, but which might me uncomfortable for sensitive sleepers. If I ever get the chance to go back to Jeju, this is the place I want to stay at again for sure! 사장님 감사합니다. 다시 뵙기를 바랍니다!
